Easy enough...Name the Final Four for Homestead.

Jimmie, Kenseth, Ky. Busch, Gordon

If Gordon can get pass Texas he'll be alright. Same for Kyle on Kansas.

Johnson, Hamlin, KyBu, Kenseth.

Too bad, we do now. Deal with it.
Not until the day I die. Sadly, like so many others, NASCAR is a thing of the past thanks to stupid decisions like this. I haven't watched a race since Richmond last year. That trend will continue. 40 years of being a fan, and I'm done.

Watching NASCAR like a religion is gone for most, no doubt.

I concider NASCAR like I do the WWE now.

Cannot be taken seriously. Its like an escape from reality. Pretty sad

All sports are an escape from reality...

So ironic. For years the fans that were complaining about the entertainment value finally get their change, which will make the championship more exciting, and they still point fingers. It's not like Brian France forced everyone to race pink Priuses and changed the name to The Unicorns and Puppies Racing League. If you haven't noticed, every major sport is changing it's postseason formats. If you want NASCAR to stay above ground you'd understand the necessary changes. Your favorite driver and 42 others will be there just like last year and the year before that. As for the racing, nothing has changed. Watch that.

Lets see urs

Thought you'd never ask. Had to think a little about this one.....Jimmie, Denny, Kyle, and Harvick

Jimmie--Duh...Don't ask why
Denny--He is poised for a rebound year. My only reservation is that I am not sure that the Gen 6 suits him. The lighter car lessens his advantage at Martinsville. As much as I would like to see Matt kick ass again, I worry about that team now that the newness has rubbed off. I am a big Jason Ratcliff fan. Repeating last year will be difficult. I want to be wrong, and have Matt in this.
Kyle--Finished 4th last year. Kansas will not expose him under the new format. He is a wheelman and this format suits him--even if he doesn't know it.
Harvick--Can't go Smoke here because he will not be 100%. If Happy doesn't eat Rodney for lunch, they should be solid. I am not sipping the Kurt Busch Kool-Aide with a rookie CC.

Honorable Mention--Carl Edwards. Didn't want to leave Ford out, but am struggling for a reason to put him in.

I feel what you are saying and I respect your decision. I know you have contributed to grass roots racing too with great photography. I see you as one that gives more than they take.

I am tempted too, but I aint done. I think the "regular" season and the most of the chase will be good, there will be a lot of risk taking.

The overall title will not mean as much imo but I guess they will survive without my blessings. It is more of a tv package imo. I read somewhere when ESPN was just starting to broadcast the races, that TV would change racing. Unfortunately the prophecy is now the reality.

Yep, that's your opinion but his may differ.
Okay here...

48, 18, 99, 4.

Any speculation as to which of the TV talking heads will be the first to refer to the championship-eligible drivers as the “sweet sixteen?”

Sounds like something Mikey Waltrip would use.

For the couple nitwits with the "you should just leave then" crap, lemme think on that for a sec. There's still NASCAR LMSC racing, Whelen modifieds, truck racing, etc. You dipsticks that think I should leave just because I ain't watching Cup races? Ya know there's more to life (and NASCAR) than the Cup series (which is now a joke), right?
