Fontana RACE thread

They boosted the site pressures on the 24 for that final restart and it made it drive like it was on ice.

I swallow my pride and pick Joey Logano for my work pool. I get rewarded with a P39. Thanks Logano.

As soon as Gordon asked for a "tad more loose" I knew the pooch was screwed.

No matter.

Gordon is going to win at least 4 races this year.

He's running superb at the mile and a halfs this year. Its inevitable that he'll win soon.
True that. They're showing a lot more speed early on than they did last year. Caught a bad break with the Bowyer caution. Martinsville is a classic Gordon track.

FOX: "We'll cover jeff gordon as soon as we come back"
come back
"We're only going to show the finishing order"
:flushed:

Reflexes go with age. Reflexes matter more on restarts. Gordon is an all-time great. But his 42 year old reflexes aren't good enough anymore on restarts.

It's like putting in golf. That's what goes first. The older guys still can hit for distance, but the reflexes go first.

LOL
When you have no grip you tend to fall back.

what the fk are you going on about? His loss had nothing to do with the restart.

Yeah Larson is making Dillon look really bad.
Not arguing that , but Austin is 9th in points, Larson 16th , I do think that Larson with make it in the top ten, and Austin will fall out by the summer

5 races, 5 different winners. I am pretty sure next week will be 6 with the 24 and 48 being so good at Martinsville. Hamlin too. Don't know, might have more than 16 winners this year. Points might be that ultimate factor.

Austin's in a far superior racecar and he'd rather finish 15th than risk wrecking a car to win a race. I wish every race was like today's race - where tires separate talent from money. The three most talented drivers 1-2-3.

I am all in with Larson now.
He has quickly converted me. I wasn't initially a fan because I didn't like how he just flat out dumped someone to win that little short track race at Daytona a while back. He's definitely legit, though. As I said before, Chip knew what he was doing bringing Larson up to Cup. The boy is more than ready - he's about to win one of these races! He almost did today!

Oh ok FOX. Say you're going to had Gordon's interview when you get back, but never do. Cool. Douches.

I am not jumping on the Larson Bandwagon yet, but he was impressive today , that is all

It wasn't pretty but i will take a 1-2-3-5-and 14th finish. Fender always says he loves a race that tires make a difference...so he should have loved this one.:D
