As we all know, A driver's talent is hard to showcase in subpar rides but sometimes you see a driver doing more with less and you hope for better for that driver.

My two picks are Michael Annett and Landon Cassill.

Annett is 30th in sprint cup points however that doesn't tell the whole story. in 2012 in Nationwide he avg. a 11th place finish ,finished 5th in points and had 6 top fives for RPM. in cup this year, He's kept the car running and in one piece for most of the races and has steadily improved his finishes.. Its now not a surprise for the 7 car to be in the top 20.

Landon Cassill this year in Nationwide has finished every race but two and those two races he had mechanical issues. He drives for an underfunded team like Annett and yet has learned to bring the cars home, safe with solid finishes.

I'm not saying these two would win races and championships with better opportunities but I would like their hard work to be rewarded.

Any other names people here can think of?

Just because you are sponsored by dogecoin, you dont become a great driver :D

My picks are Annett and Carl Edwards

Hmm, probably almendinger. You wonder what he thinks when he see's logano in the 22. Damn. Also, hornish has the talent to be the 2nd or 3rd driver on a 2nd tier team.

Cassill impresses me. I'd like to see him and Josh Wise in better equipment. Michael Annett could stand to upgrade and I still carry the banner for Parker Kligerman. Somebody put that boy in a decent car and watch him work.

Another name to keep in mind Ryan Sieg. Kid impresses the **** out of me.

A bunch of guys: Marcos Ambrose, Aric Almirola, Josh Wise, Casey Mears, Michael Annett, Landon Cassill

Nationwide-Ryan Sieg, Jason Bowles, Mike Bliss, James Buescher (this one blows my mind how he's not with a better team)

whenever i hear announcer say there's a spin, i always think of Ryan Sieg or John West Townley.

Mears had his shot at HMS. Complete let down.

Jimmie Johnson, I think HMS is holding him back! :p I keed, I keed.

Serious answer: Truex Jr.

Also, why the **** is everyone saying Josh Wise? His track record is terrible.

His track record is terrible...because he's not in a better ride. He performed really well in his USAC days.

Cup: Annett, Allgaier, Wise, Cassill, McDowell

Nationwide: Sieg, James Buescher, Chris Buescher, Cassill

Bobby & Terry Labonte

I'd love to see Bobby get a chance to finish his career in a decent ride. Maybe with RCR or MWR. Wont happen though.

My answer: Sam Hornish Jr. You guys can beat him to hell and back, but he still finishes better than most of your drivers in NNS.

I realize the Labontes are old and semi-retired and their best days are long behind them, but it's unfortunate that two former champions can't get a better ride than Circle Sport or FAS Lane. They both deserve better. Hell, that dinosaur Bill Elliott got a one race deal with Turner (Hendrick) a couple years ago, and he was in the top 5 or 10 all race until he got caught up in a crash.

I still believe that Bobby would be competitive on a good team.

Not sure I agree. I mean look at what he did in the 47...ran back of pack and never impressed but now AJ is in there and he is running much better. The car may not be top tier but a drivers skills can get it up front and keep it there. Bobby's skills are lacking IMO.

I cant decide who deserves a better ride but just pick any one of them and put them in the 10 car... Boom, confetti.

They run RCR equipment now. HUGE improvement from the Triad junk they raced when Bobby drove the car. He's definitely not the driver he once was, but I would still like to see him get a chance in above average cars a few races a year.

He was competitive at Ganassi and was outperforming harvick his one year at RCR before sponsorship dried up. And he was having a really good year by the end of 2007 then Hendrick gave his team to jr. And he had to drive the 5. Hendrick set him up to fail

Jamie Mac and Kyle Larson. Though I don't think it will be long before one of the top teams tries to buy Larson out of his contract.
