I got to agree on the fact I got Gronk and Gostkowski on my fantasy team, and the person I'm up against has Denver's defense so this would help me out.

I remember that one. Dude got beat hard (lol). I was surprised he made it as far as he did and didn't have to be scraped off of the field.

And today the Giants made him look the second coming of Montana. Insane. Gaping holes in the coverage everywhere.
 
These primetime games kill me. Boring matchups across the board almost every week it seems.Then next week we get Philly against the Zeke-less Cowgirls while the Rams and Vikings play at 1 PM...I thought flex scheduling was supposed to be a thing?

Yep, I remember one of the announcers was freaking out that the Iowa coaches were keeping him in the game, as if he was dying on the field or something.

As far as the Giants, I'm not surprised they quit on McAdoo, he seemed like a terrible hire right from the start

Got what we deserved. Firing Coughlin for McAdoo made no sense, he didn't show anything as an OC that would lead anyone to believe he should be a HC. "Throw to Odell" is hardly a gameplan. Figures that Coughlin is making the Jags better now. His biggest mistake his final year in NY was that we lost a bunch of games late on poor clock management, which probably could've been fixed in a different manner.

There's no way in hell they bring him back next year, right? Will he even make it to the end of the season?

I'll be shocked if he's back next year. Making it to the end of the season would be an achievement. 1-15 is not outside of the realm of possibility with the upcoming schedule.
 
An Eagles win at Dallas this week and they essentially lock up the NFC East already have a 3 game lead in the division.

My perspective as a long time fan growing up in the pre-Madden era. That thing was/is ridiculous. I think it would be best used for replays, if at all. While it's great to see the routes run and holes open up, it is extremely difficult to judge distance gained on a play from that point of view. It's almost impossible to locate the ball on a kickoff, and there were plenty of those to see last night. I think it's time to put that toy back in the box.

My son's perspective as a long time and present gamer. He loved the thing. He spent most of the game trying to tell my wife & I how great it is. I know he was getting pissed at us voicing our dissenting opinion of it.

Two different worlds I guess.

Here in the Pittsburgh market the sports shows are just getting started for the day. That Sky-Cam thing is about to get lit up.
 
Much to my surprise, people seemed to have liked the camera.....

I must be living in my own little corner of the world. :(
