Cup RACE thread ---- Las Vegas

Sure there are...but it's not the majority and probably a very small minority, especially here in this forum. But say something negative about Bubba and the defenders either insinuate it or outright bring it up. And that term has now become synonymous with the R word......

BTW, I see my posts were removed. Matter of time before yours is since you quoted it......probably the right way to go. Ignore it like it isn't even there.
I mean, I don’t know tbh. I seen some pretty ****** up stuff said about Bubba, that I don’t see said about other drivers. I say it’s probably pretty even.

Yeah. We ain’t allowed to talk about stuff like this. Even when it’s civilized. Because reasons

FB certainly. From pretty cringeworthy to out and out racist stuff but not here. Maybe I'm not sensitive enough to see it? And oh, didn't realize that....thanks for the heads up.

Oh yeah, here’s pretty tame. Facebook, Twitter, stuff like that is where you will see the folks come out and not even tried to hide it. Some will hide it behind code words however.

So I guess tomorrow we find out how far removed we are from the "Have at it Boys" era we are.

Bubba (& Kurt) is my guy, but he messed up. He deserves something...as much or as little as the last guy who did something similar. Or as they say on the streets "F*** around and find out".

Watched the full 5 minute interview from Larson.

What Bubba did was wrong. But it's curious how Larson always verbally assumes responsibility and justifies the other driver's reasons for being mad.

It's almost like he is fine with guys wrecking him in return and assumes responsibility for creating a situation that may upset other drivers.

He's going to keep racing people like this, people are going to continue to retaliatr and he's going to continue to be fine with it.

Like throwing a picnic at the beach and being fine with the seagulls showing up, every single time.

The day before, Josh Berry went into the wall at the same place, the same way, and he won the race. He didn't lift either, but had enough presence of mind to not lose his and continue racing and Berry drove to victory.
This is stock car racing, I don't think some realize that. It is a FULL contact sport and full contact WILL happen.

He’s still pissed ...

This sucks. Mark was my guy from the get go because of his humility and class until he finally did hang it up. Even driving a Toyota and for Felony Motorsports. I hope he’s just sad because of the missed opportunity and not doing this trendy victim thing going around. He‘s better than that…

Apology sounds a mix of sincere and heavy PR narrative. Two major things he didn’t do.
1 - did NOT apologize to Larson.
2 - did NOT apologize for intentionally retaliating and wrecking Larson.

Deserves heavy fines, docking of points/owner points and at least be put on probation. Bubba is a hot head. He makes horrible decisions, has major anger issues that he really needs to deal with. He’s made a lot of progress on the track.

really? he just knows he messed up.next will be the tears. not buying it. park him!!!!!!!!

About as much as you can show me that Bubba wrote it, but hopefully you are smarter than that. Its PR's job, to put out fires and do damage control.
I’m not saying one way or another. Because neither of us know. Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t.

Well you have your opinion, I have mine, neither have facts. So let’s agree to disagree and leave it at that. Have a good night

Michael Jordan just finished reading it..

Bubba claims he had no steering and didn't intentionally RR Larson, if that's true why is he apologizing to Bell and Gibbs. If he didn't intentionally wreck Larson, then the whole wreck is Larson's fault, so then he had no reason to apologize. So in my mind then he just admitted that he intentionally wrecked Larson which impacted Bell.
