Cup RACE thread --- Dover on a Monday

Yeah, the “boys have at it” is working so well.

It is, if you like formula 1 style racing than watch formula 1. Rubbing is racing. Does it go too far sometimes? Sure, but to totally change the identity of nascar and penalize drivers for rubbing is the day that I stop watching nascar.

Rubbing is one thing, taking someone out every other week is another.
If driver self-policing worked Ross wouldn't finish a race for the remainder of the year.

What a day yesterday was.
Woke up thinking I was going to be playing in a Pro-Am only for it to be cancelled.

Considering I had everything I needed done at work for the day I went on Stubhub, brought a ticket and ran home and grabbed my gear.
Got up there in time to walk from my car, get my race pin and go to my seat. I was really surprised how many people were there for a Monday race; wasn’t expected that many people at all.

Really enjoyed the race, typical Dover in spots but all and all pretty solid, it was shaping up to be a great finish between Truex and Ross before that last caution.

Funny thing was nearly 16 years ago I went to my first race, at Dover on a Monday and Truex won.
Yesterday was my 36th Cup race, a full season of cup races completed. Like my first it was on a Monday at Dover and Truex won. Strange world
