I still believe she got fired last week. On Monday. That phrase, "looks like we have an open seat" doesn't read to me like, can you help our rookie driver? I suspect they had a heart-to-heart. Told her, here is what's happening. You in or you out? Maybe she made the mistake of saying, let me call my dad...and...team said, let me help you to the door.

I made all that up. But wouldn't be surprised if that's kinda what went down. I know someone will be upset by my theory. Whatever.

As horrendous as this season has been, I’m still a bit surprised they canned the whole partnership after half a season. Not sure there are any other immediate opportunities available, but I do hope she finds something and makes it a point to get seat time wherever she can find it and just rack up experience.

Guys are desperate for that content, so pretty much any female can fall back on OF if they feel the need to.

But she doesn’t even need that. With 583k subscribers on Youtube, that’s more than enough to live comfortably. This guy I’ve watched occasionally only has 497k and he can afford traveling all over the country going to amusement park after amusement park. With her poor finishes, I can’t imagine Deegan was making much more from racing than she is from Social Media. So yeah, if she’s content with not racing, she’ll still do just fine in life.

Says help the team. Not help their rookie driver. Because they no longer HAD a rookie driver. Maybe they intended to have her there to watch & learn and she did exactly what i suggested. Called dad. See ya!

Can you provide a link showing Hailie was released before Saturday's Xfin race?
 
I'm interested to learn more about the decisions and timing behind the split. Hopefully more info becomes available.
Berry in the AMR 15 for this weekend at Pocono. I wanna see how crappy this AMR car actually is.

Ok. We getting there. None of us know what the contract clauses were. Was there a mid-season expectation? Top 20 in points we move forward, under top 20 we renegotiate. Or whatever anyone thinks makes sense. IMO, all this happened immediately after the previous race. Management called a meeting. Said this ain't working. We MUST get better results. Here is OUR plan. Either take it or leave it. And she left.

Fired or mutual decision? Depends on your viewpoint. But again, just my take on what I know. Which I admit, ain't much. IF she was still employed on Sat she would have been at the race and maybe even done an interview. Laid it all out. We getting data to get better. Nope. She was long gone.

She may have been busy making more YouBoob vids, I dunno.
From past discussions here it was revealed that she wasn't often at the race shop, spent little time on the sim, etc. Like I said, I hope more info on the split becomes available. 🍻

I googled YouBoob and didnt flnd anything exciting. I will go check on AssBook next....

If I am gone for several hours..... no worries I will be okay.

Some people will believe anything on this thread. Some say it over and over until they believe it.
 
Lacking other evidence, I tend to go with the simplest explanation.
  • We know she took AR branding off her social media pages on ... Thursday? That would seem to argue against any legal restrictions on publicly acknowledging a split.
  • Separations usually don't take a week to announce. Even the contentious DiBurrito split was announced within a few days, not a full week later. I don't see reason why this one would require a delay.
  • I have no reason to doubt the statements about the purpose of Logano's involvement. If they'd let Deegan go earlier in the week, there are cheaper Ford pilots than Logano available on a week's notice, including Truckers who had the weekend off.
Her walking out seems like the simplest explanation.
