They found the loophole that it never says 3/5ths of your driver lineup has to be alive.Mario Andretti, AJ Foyt, David Pearson, and Dale Sr. They'll field a fifth car at road courses for Paul Newman.

NASCAR wanted to limit teams to THREE charters. I don't think they are going to budge on allowing more than four in the foreseeable future.Building a driver roster for when 23XI breaks up Nascar and they become all Hendrick cars.
A full on Corvette series due to Mr. H's affection for the model? Yes please!Building a driver roster for when 23XI breaks up Nascar and they become all Hendrick cars.
That discriminates against those who are differently enabled metabolically. They found the loophole that it never says 3/5ths of your driver lineup has to be alive.
Fielded entirely from his own collection?A full on Corvette series due to Mr. H's affection for the model? Yes please!
Hell no, many of them are serial #1.Fielded entirely from his own collection?
So you're saying Stenhouse is out?Hell no, many of them are serial #1.
That just raises the stakes when you go to Talladega.Hell no, many of them are serial #1.
40 cars all trying to run at the back of the pack. That just raises the stakes when you go to Talladega.
That would be a fun time to add a figure 8.That just raises the stakes when you go to Talladega.
Tony'd come back from retirement for that one. That would be a fun time to add a figure 8.
I wouldn't let Stenhouse close to one lol.So you're saying Stenhouse is out?
But he sure can run second place which is very good for the sponsor.Sheldon Creed can't.
How so?That may be so, but I mean let’s be honest here, it’s getting less support than the 2, 12, and 22. Plus sometimes people don’t go well with teams. It happens.
even with most real multi car teams, typically one car is gonna get less resources than others. I don’t see them putting as much into a car that’s not even really there’s as the ones that are.How so?
They have one shop at Penske. The cars are all assembled in the same building by the same people.
When they control the entire personnel from driver to crew chief to engineer its their team.even with most real multi car teams, typically one car is gonna get less resources than others. I don’t see them putting as much into a car that’s not even really there’s as the ones that are.
Could they right now buy a charter if one as available and run a car full time? If so, it’s not their car because that would make them have 5 cars. When they control the entire personnel from driver to crew chief to engineer its their team.

So it's the hauler driver's fault.I think the 21 car starts to lose speed when it leaves the Penske garage on it's way to the Wood brothers.
Do you know the difference between 'de jure' and 'de facto'?Could they right now buy a charter if one as available and run a car full time? If so, it’s not their car because that would make them have 5 cars.
What about bringing in Caitlyn (Bruce) JennerThey found the loophole that it never says 3/5ths of your driver lineup has to be alive.
I do, that’s why I said a team that’s not really there’s.Do you know the difference between 'de jure' and 'de facto'?
exactly.So it's the hauler driver's fault.
Well, TBH I don't think they are making a huge leap forward with Josh Berry either.Look at who the past two drivers of the #21 have been - Matty D and Harrison Burton. Enough said.
Matt Burrito couldn't accept that no matter how well he did, he was told up front he was a one-season filler and the car was going to someone else, period. If the car hadn't been previously committed, he performed well enough to have been worth considering for the seat. If he had handled the situation more professionally, another Cup team might have given him a shot.Look at who the past two drivers of the #21 have been - Matty D and Harrison Burton. Enough said.
They found a loophole. Penske is a 4 car team and JGR is essentially a 6 car team, no matter what Dennis says.Could they right now buy a charter if one as available and run a car full time? If so, it’s not their car because that would make them have 5 cars.
If 23XI doesn't have the charter income, will it be able to afford JGR's services?JGR is essentially a 6 car team
Depends how deep MJ wants to reach into his pockets. If 23XI doesn't have the charter income, will it be able to afford JGR's services?
"Things that make you go 'Hmmmmm?' "
I don't know of any other teams who are supposedly separate, but they all meet together for competition meetings. They found a loophole. Penske is a 4 car team and JGR is essentially a 6 car team, no matter what Dennis says.

Which Wood Bros shop????I think the 21 car starts to lose speed when it leaves the Penske garage on it's way to the Wood brothers.
I don't think that will be much of an issue, to be honest. If 23XI doesn't have the charter income, will it be able to afford JGR's services?

The 21 car never goes from Penske to the Wood Bros. The Wood Bros haven't had a functioning shop for years. The 21 is build at Penske alongside the 2/12/22, gets loaded into a hauler from Penske to the track and then back to Penske. The "Wood Bros" drivers, so Harrison right now, are in the same weekly performance meetings at Penske as Blaney/Cindric/Logano, and they also ride the Penske jet to and from the track. Logano said a few weeks ago that Harrison sits next to him on the plane every single weekend. "Wood Bros" is just a legacy name for heritage now.I think the 21 car starts to lose speed when it leaves the Penske garage on it's way to the Wood brothers.
I'm calling it now.
Somehow Harrison lands in the 6 car in the next... Two or three years, tops.
I like Berry. He’ll be better than Burton. But don’t expect him to run much better or worse than DiBenedetto did in that car.Well, TBH I don't think they are making a huge leap forward with Josh Berry either.

Top 5 at Kansas yesterday...Well he's young so there's room for improvement, no one seriously expects Ty to suddenly start being good.
