Some news from this board’s resident Chicago White Sox fan. To sum it up, Sox Owner Jerry Reinsdorf is trying to hold the city/state hostage to have it build a new stadium after a historically awful season and is “threatening” to sell the team to the group of Nashville investors who want a team there. I THINK it’s a tactic to strangle the city into giving him that oh so sweet public money but with Jerrry you can never be sure. This eerily looks similar to the John Fisher playbook moving the A’s to Vegas….gut the team, beg the state for money for a new stadium, blame the fans not showing up to view your horrible product, leave. I’m in the darkest timeline as a White Sox fan. Screw you Jerry.
