I don't know, it sure would have been exciting if the guy in fourth place in points had an equal chance to the guy who'd earned the title throughout the season. And how did we pay attention all year without cut lines?

Even though Sweet was gone out front, that was maybe the most racey I've seen this configuration of I-70. It's going to be reconfigured into a smaller track for next season.

Call me crazy but a smaller track with less speed will make it more racier. Good for the midgets too.

I think that's the plan. Bigger tracks are more expensive to compete at, a lot of lower budget teams just stay away. They should be able to book more events and have higher car counts.

100% agree. Have seen some snoozers at those big 1/2 and 5/8 mile tracks. But a snoozer at a 1/4 mile is quite rare.

These last couple of nights must revive his short term prospects. It's been tough for him on the sprint car side of late.

Things are reverting back to the norm here late in the season with Sweet and Courtney running up front.

Timms is 3rd in the midgets. He is showing speed in the new Sprint car with a second Tuesday and was in first/second in High Limit tonight until car trouble. It will be interesting to see if he holds the speed.

At Port City, Timms did a slide job for 2nd, didn't clear his rear end and it stalled him. So he came from the back to finish 5th.
