Cup RACE thread --- Roval

Wife and I took a weekend trip to the mid eastern coast of Maine. Visited Steph King's house yesterday. Were out from 7am to 10pm.

Had some more fun today up until now. Really looking for this 3 hour break to watch the race from this cute little hotel.

Knowing Larson just needs to score only 10-15 points certainly means I can relax today. .

Sorry @AdoubleU24 , I'm gonna be calm today ;)

Looking forward to this one, and looking forward to the pseudoregular season champ Reddick with a race winning car to inevitably trip over himself today.

another SVG ass whipping inbound today. He’s gonna stink up the show.

The ass whoppings are less common in cup. Kinda has that feel that if any of the 13, 5, 9, 45, and 2 get out front they'll "dominate"

Next gen roval baby.

Dominant car is an abstract circumstance

Larson been the only car keeping pace with SVG so far.

Similar to Sonoma...except SVG. If Cliff can get him out front of SVG with strategy in stage 3, pace seems to be there.

Yeah Elliott. I love the mechanics of that pass effort, but that ain't gonna work in the gen 7.

Gotta dive bomb that ****

Perfect aggression from the 9 there. Dared 2 to FAFO but didn’t cross the line.

Random thought: anyone else surprised Gibbs hasn't won yet?

Larson is going to get penalized at some point for that.

Lolol

Tyler: "What can we do to fix your car?"

Larson: "uhhhh I don't know"

Translation: The car is great. SVG is just way better than me

5/45 look like they did at Sonoma. SVG is just THAT good

9 the fastest on track but sadly may not be able to race for the win

Really thought the 5 would stay out for stage points to lock up a transfer.

Not good enough on short run. Car coming to life when you're 7 seconds behind the leader doesn't help unless you flip the stages.

9 team can't afford that today. But the gamble could be worth it
