Silly Season 2025

Possible, and he does have some interesting experiences, but he's probably one of the last drivers I would expect to actually write a book.
That's what ghost writers are for. But they like to get paid, and I don't see a market for a book from a driver with relatively low name recognition outside the sport.

Considering JGR doesn't have a #54 Xfinity car this year, I wonder if this will be another yota in the series or are they just doing a number change?

I think with a good shrink Matty D would have been a great driver for that car.
If Matt hadn't been such an ass, he might have had a shot at it when Burton didn't pan out.

"Hey, I understand I'm only here for a year but I think we've done pretty well. How about keeping me in mind if anything opens up down the road? Thanks."

Instead he heads to twitter with his tale of woe and burns yet another bridge. Sympathetic reddit fans are not owners. They don't have rides available.

It's funny to me that with all of the head case drivers and actual bad actors out there, Matt seems to be the one of the only ones that paid a real price. And for what? Because he speaks his mind and has some opinions that some might disagree with? I feel awful for the Wood Family, as there are few people in racing that I like and respect more, And I feel a little bad for Harrison Burton who got put in a ride he really wasn't qualified for, but otherwise I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the 21 car be a dumpster fire for three years because Roger went for money over talent. Meanwhile Rick Hendrick hires future Hall of Famers and figures the money out later, even if he has to do it himself.

Has there been any new rumors for a 3rd RFK car and where the charter would come from? Last I heard is possibly buying or leasing one from RWR

I have no basis of saying this and I can’t stand the kid, but I think chandlers issue is a chandler issue. He seems like a spoiled little brat and had a good year at kaulig and left, a good year at JGR and is now leaving with 3 races left and no ride for next year. Might be an attitude problem.
