Silly Season 2025

JTG sold?

Hyak Maritime = tugboats. Tugboats push and shove and bang on freighters, tankers, and barges to get 'em moving on down the line... not unlike the pack drafting at Daytona or Talladega. Sometimes they lose control and take out a bridge or maybe block the Suez Canal. In tugboat vernacular, such incidents are called... "The Big One."

When Hyak Martime owner, Gordon Smith, decided to invest in Nascar, he knew that the 47 team with driver Ricky Stenhouse was the perfect fit. Smith calls it, "The culture of The Big One."

Kaulig booted him a month ago.

I'll tell ya one thing. He's one of those broke Nascar team owners forced into signing a slave labor contract. I know that much.

Hendrick, Penske, Gibbs are broke?

I'd venture to say they will save tons of legal fees and that Jordan/Denny and Front Row are gonna lose.

Daniel Hemric gets the 19 NAPA ride in the Truck Series. Basically Kaulig swapped drivers with them. He should be very competitive in that ride.

Doubt Hemric can hold a candle to Christian Eckes's record in the Napa 19. Kaulig has got themselves a driver with Eckes in the Xfinity series, hopefully their junk can keep up.

I disagree. I expect Hemric to be a championship contender all year. He’s quietly had a decent season (by kaulig standards)

He's getting a top Truck so it's possible, the equipment won't hold him back. Kaulig's stuff is another story.

So is everybody. What is another question mark is that JGR takes an ARCA driver Swalwich, and plops him in an Xfinity car and leaves Heim in the Trucks lol.

that is weird. Heim is ready for Xfinity. I don't think it would have been wise to have him go straight to Cup though. But, I do think he's more talented than Herbst, although Herbst has improved the last few years.

From what I understand, the chance of Heim getting into ANY car remotely connected to JGR is slim and none. Sounds like whatever bad blood there is, it runs deep. Really surprised he hasn't jumped ship just to try to save his career, but I imagine every place he would go wants money he doesn't have. I feel bad for the guy, he's kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.

That ones a shocker. 2025 bold prediction Dennis goes winless

Folks on the socials saying this is bad for the 11 team and it’s over for them, I don’t know if this is a bad hire or they’re being facetious.

I'm not saying it's a bad hire. Just everything I saw on the back half of the season it seems like Dennis is on the back slide and Chris may have been propping him up a little

Man, you guys should know the drill by now. Preacher has got the knife out. Let the back stabbing begin. Sorry Hamlin, FedX is gone and you are expendable.

Yup, it's the beginning of the end for Denny in the 11. Especially now that they have Briscoe in the 19, the rest of JGR's Cup driver lineup should have them set solidly for the next handful of years. Denny is on the back end of his career, long-time sponsor gone away, somewhat of a decline in performance this year (wasn't really a championship threat). Very reminiscent of KB.

I wonder who will step into that ride when he retires. I could actually see Bowman getting a deal there (for much smaller money than whatever Denny is making of course) if he gets pushed out of the 48 for Justin Haley. He would be a reliable choice and a bit of a veteran presence at that point (as odd as that sounds).

My bologna has a first name. Its O S C A R. My bologna has a second name its M A Y E R.

B O L O G N A

If you learned to spell bologna from a commercial it past time you got a C O L O N O S C O P Y.
Just make sure that they switch nozzles if they want to do a upper GI scopy.

I think they knock you out to do it.... but the thought will still count for something...

etc

Well that's different. Before it sounded like Dennis was the driving factor in putting him in the 500.

Denny always tries to make things sound that way honestly, and I'm in no way even saying that because of my opinion(s) about him.

I swear he made some statement along the lines that anytime MTJ wants to race he'll put a car out there for him. Race 1: well you see......
