Silly Season 2025

JTG sold?

Hyak Maritime = tugboats. Tugboats push and shove and bang on freighters, tankers, and barges to get 'em moving on down the line... not unlike the pack drafting at Daytona or Talladega. Sometimes they lose control and take out a bridge or maybe block the Suez Canal. In tugboat vernacular, such incidents are called... "The Big One."

When Hyak Martime owner, Gordon Smith, decided to invest in Nascar, he knew that the 47 team with driver Ricky Stenhouse was the perfect fit. Smith calls it, "The culture of The Big One."

Kaulig booted him a month ago.

I'll tell ya one thing. He's one of those broke Nascar team owners forced into signing a slave labor contract. I know that much.

Hendrick, Penske, Gibbs are broke?

I'd venture to say they will save tons of legal fees and that Jordan/Denny and Front Row are gonna lose.

Daniel Hemric gets the 19 NAPA ride in the Truck Series. Basically Kaulig swapped drivers with them. He should be very competitive in that ride.

Doubt Hemric can hold a candle to Christian Eckes's record in the Napa 19. Kaulig has got themselves a driver with Eckes in the Xfinity series, hopefully their junk can keep up.

I disagree. I expect Hemric to be a championship contender all year. He’s quietly had a decent season (by kaulig standards)

He's getting a top Truck so it's possible, the equipment won't hold him back. Kaulig's stuff is another story.
