The Food thread

Chicken parts with a little teriyaki/olive oil binder to get the SD2 to stick.

The Original SD(1) has only ever been in my work truck, never brought it home. Primarily designed for fresh vegetable snacks.
SD2 is similar to a jerk seasoning for meat, mostly chicken. Jerk seasoning has specific components but no two are alike. The SD2 is bomb on boned chicken that is either grilled or baked but must be used with a light teriyaki/oil for a room temp marinade.

The killer kraut. I ain’t sure I should do it.

Early in January 2025, the RF members realized Bobby hadn't posted for a few weeks. Looking at his profile, they found this had been his last post. The discussion was renamed "The BobbyFord Food Thread", and everyone posted photos of the fajitas they prepared in his honor. 'Sauerkraut and Serranos' was never mentioned again.

Butter tarts for breakfast. It must be Christmas.

Does a wedge of chocolate orange count as a serving of fruit?

I dunno about 'gringo', those look legit to me.

I love a good corn tortilla. Back in SC the was a little tienda near the house that had them fresh. They must have done a huge business on them since they stored them in one of those 250qt coolers. Lift the lid on that sucker and the warm corn aroma smacked you right in the face. Mom wouldn't wait the mile or so back to the house; she'd start munching them in the car.

My boss got me this pack of fresh tortillas that they make at a market close to his house. I like to heat them on the flame burner.
