Not sure what Bloomie was thinking. He went from the pole to 0.6 back. I don't know how much faster he'd been without the argy-bargy but he would have done better than 6th.

#99 LMP2 'Spike' has second before spinning with under a minute to go. Drawing the red flag moved them back to 6th.

If he backed out that was pretty much the end of his lap anyways, and they were coming to the checkered so I figure he just decided to try to shoot the gap. Tough break and some unfortunate timing to run up on the Lambo there.

At least on raw pace it’s shaping up to be BMW vs. Acura after everything we’ve seen since the start of the Roar.

Big statement from Ford as well to lock out the front row of GTD Pro to start the second season of the Mustang GT3 project.

And for the highest finishing female award in the MX5 Race 2:
16 th place A. Speed over 17th place C. Candas by 1/10 of a second.
That paid her $2,000.

High praise for Youtube sensation Sally McNulty for avoiding the big one
and finishing 18th or 19th for her second race ever in IMSA. I hope
she sticks around.

Front of the race had an awesome finish as well.

I don't have cable and do have Peacock so I don't care, but seven hours of coverage on traditional TV is embarrassing.
IMSA only has twelve hours of coverage on USA all season long this year. Not sure what the deal is with that, but Peacock is nice anyway and I’d guess it was part of the trade off in having more hours on NBC throughout the year.

I’m a believer in an all of the above approach to sports coverage. But in all honesty, you’re better off on OTA and streaming and skipping on cable.

There was a report on RACER where IndyCar is now borderline panicking about there being no streaming option because Fox used VENU as a selling point.

I’ve heard NASCAR is having the same concerns. Especially with the future of USA network very much in doubt.
