2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona

Looks like game over now…that thing is porpoising terribly.
BMW had a legit chanced to win until they punted that GT car, and later got into the back of a Porsche. They had a great race going and it fell apart 30 minutes from the end.

While I'm not n necessarily a BMW fan, I was sorry to see them let it slip away like that. They need a good result, and fourth probably isn't what they had in mind. If IMSA leaves the BOP alone, BMW will probably be pretty fierce at Sebring.

Yeah, they’ve figured out the reliability for the most part and the pace is great now. Indy and the Fuji WEC race late last year showed that as well. I like the driver lineup shakeup this season too. Dries is awfully quick and aggressive, he just stepped over the edge once too many times today.

Sally had a good vid of her in car camera avoiding the Big One
in the MX-5 Race 2. She is a brand new rookie sharing her
journey.

Didn't GM say hey had exhausted the front engine format and to be competitive they had to build a mid engine Corvette? LOL
True…that said, the C7.R was sundowning at a time when they were competing against Ford’s own mid-engined car in the Ford GT. The 911 RSR at the time was also more mid-mounted than rear-mounted after getting a waiver to adjust from the road car to the race car. The final couple of years years were a struggle before the C8.R and now Z06 GT3.R - which is a fantastic car in its own right and got great results yesterday too.

It’s hard not to love the Mustang GT3 though. Really glad they finally turned that into a proper GT racer.

Just finished it. Love it for Tandy. Apparently it's best in LMP2 to start about 8th. Wonder if Chevy and BMW will continue feuding this year, and if Ford will continue to take advantage.

The Rolex 24 delivers again.
