Yep, you know it. It’s always a PITA to clean it after use, so when we smoke, we smoke the hell out of it. Lots of meat will be flavored this weekend. Them, vacuumed packed and stored for future meals.Nice looking smoker and additional accessories. Sounds like someone is going to be doing some serious work with the Traeger.
Yes, I’m home till Tuesday. No party though except for my wife and I. No dog in the fight for this game but I’ll be rooting the Eagles on.Are you going to be home for Super Bowl? Planning on having a big party?
About four hours. How long do you smoke it? Looks good so far but will look, and taste better once smoked.
I don’t take much with me. I’d probably go right through it if I did. Make it mostly for an occasional treat of flavor. It is good stuffDAMN!! Makes my mouth water. Sure looks good.
How much of that is loaded in your truck freezer for future meals on the road?
I think back to the late 1950's when I drove and all we could do was carry sandwiches or eat at greasy spoons. I got so sick and tired of over-cooked roast beef, greasy gravy and green beans I couldn't wait to get home for a home cooked meal.
The highway from Connecticut to Dravosburg, PA, was Route 22 and it was mostly two lanes and narrow as it passed through the mountains of PA. The owner wouldn't pay the toll to use the PA Turnpike.
Things were a lot different then compared to today when it comes to convenience. I only lasted three months over as an over-the-road driver but it was enough to give me respect for ones who do it.
Looks amazing! All done. Cooler and attempted to vacuum seal but our sealer bit the dust today. Have to pick up a new one tomorrow to finish up…..
Started with 8lbs of meat. Finished with 5lbs after smoking. Meat $53. Seasoning $8. Pellets $4

That's better. At least you had it to yourself for a while.
