Purchased a jerky rack for our Traeger this past week. It’ll increase the capacity tremendously. First use will be this weekend after the seasoning is complete. Had to make sure the rack fit first.

Nice looking smoker and additional accessories. Sounds like someone is going to be doing some serious work with the Traeger.
Yep, you know it. It’s always a PITA to clean it after use, so when we smoke, we smoke the hell out of it. Lots of meat will be flavored this weekend. Them, vacuumed packed and stored for future meals.

Are you going to be home for Super Bowl? Planning on having a big party?
Yes, I’m home till Tuesday. No party though except for my wife and I. No dog in the fight for this game but I’ll be rooting the Eagles on.

Knocking things off of the honey do list. Installed a new beverage fridge behind the bar last night. Had to dismantle the bar to get the fridge in place. Got everything back together this morning. Was checking the stock before putting everything down behind the bar. I didn’t realize we had that much there. Good to be prepared though. I’m thinking I’ve got to sample some of the product just to make sure it’s all still good. That’s the project starting later tonight. ;)

DAMN!! Makes my mouth water. Sure looks good.
How much of that is loaded in your truck freezer for future meals on the road?

I think back to the late 1950's when I drove and all we could do was carry sandwiches or eat at greasy spoons. I got so sick and tired of over-cooked roast beef, greasy gravy and green beans I couldn't wait to get home for a home cooked meal.
The highway from Connecticut to Dravosburg, PA, was Route 22 and it was mostly two lanes and narrow as it passed through the mountains of PA. The owner wouldn't pay the toll to use the PA Turnpike.
Things were a lot different then compared to today when it comes to convenience. I only lasted three months over as an over-the-road driver but it was enough to give me respect for ones who do it.

I don’t take much with me. I’d probably go right through it if I did. Make it mostly for an occasional treat of flavor. It is good stuff

Worried about the resident road runner. It's supposed to get down to 4 degrees tomorrow. He never fails to jay run in front of me when I drive down the lake road.
