ARCA had 2 days of open practiceSo Trucks and ARCA will start the season opener without any practice.
What could go wrong?

I remember it well and see it both ways. I just have a hard time with 'racing' where you need help to advance or drop like a rock if you are out of line. But it is what it is I still watch it.When you cherry pick one race at Daytona and act like it was the standard way it went back then, I'm not buying it hook line and sinker. Also in those days there was a large gap between the haves and the have nots, plenty of single file drafting and wrecks a plenty overall. But whatever, you see it one way, I see it another.
Ridiculous statement. Real racing as in not having to rely on others to pass. Maybe lowering the banking. But whatever some sure get butthurt when you mention anything even even partially negative about Nascar. What's does "real racing" mean? You wanna go 250? They can, but what you will get are drivers trying not to crash and hurt themselves, thats not racing. That's survival.
Not at all. It is people like you that get butt hurt when confronted with other's ideas. Remember you started this nonsense, knew what it would bring before you started it. It won't solve a damn thing.Ridiculous statement. Real racing as in not having to rely on others to pass. Maybe lowering the banking. But whatever some sure get butthurt when you mention anything even even partially negative about Nascar.
I was with you this far ...Real racing as in not having to rely on others to pass. Maybe lowering the banking.
... and then you lost me.But whatever some sure get butthurt when you mention anything even even partially negative about Nascar.
ARCARemind me, is Helio running the ARCA and / or Xfinity races?
Oooooooooooooooooooo-kay. I recall being skeptical about the sincerity of his involvement.Pitbull pulls out of Trackhouse "effective immediately",
Or swapped it with Xfinity for Saturday!!But but they should have moved it two hours!!!
Looks like itTwo practices, two posts?
For 5 years?Oooooooooooooooooooo-kay. I recall being skeptical about the sincerity of his involvement.![]()
Skeptical at the time he bought in. I recall wondering if he was just another celebrity owner. He stuck around much longer than I expected but I'm not surprised he's left. I'm not sure what new audiences he introduced NASCAR to or how in love he is with us fans, but I'll bet you large change he's never seen at a NASCAR race again. For 5 years?
Trackhouse and 23XI both joined in 21.Hell, MJ's only been around for, what, three years?
Saturday?Sat. practice halted for rain with about 15 minutes left.
Sir, no excuse, sir!Saturday?![]()
Bad sign for the lawsuit.Trackhouse and 23XI both joined in 21.
Which should make 23XI one of the longest-surviving JGR customers by now.
Rain is on the schedule for 2 - 5. This appears to nicely accomplish getting in all pre-race activities and the cars on the track for the inevitable rain delay TV broadcast. Then to our surprise we will see a replay of last years race where Byron may or may not win again. We will get to see a nighttime Daytona 500 on some obscure Fox channel. All the fans will then be clamoring why doesn't NASCAR schedule this race for the nighttime because everyone knows it always rains during the afternoon in Florida and the cars look much faster at night. These guys are always thinking. But but they should have moved it two hours!!!
Thanks. Now I know to delay turning the set on until around 1:50 or so.1:30 start time = green flag at 2 pm
Evidently it does, the Daytona 500 is a real race and those are real race cars, the butthurt one lives in your mirror.Ridiculous statement. Real racing as in not having to rely on others to pass. Maybe lowering the banking. But whatever some sure get butthurt when you mention anything even even partially negative about Nascar.
Holy crap... a new genre.....I have been arguing about what "great racing" is, and now I have to figure other "real racing."Ridiculous statement. Real racing as in not having to rely on others to pass. Maybe lowering the banking. But whatever some sure get butthurt when you mention anything even even partially negative about Nascar.
.....and he is the pre-race entertainment today.Skeptical at the time he bought in. I recall wondering if he was just another celebrity owner. He stuck around much longer than I expected but I'm not surprised he's left. It’s…Daytona 500 Sunday
