Nascar Daytona 2025

Briscoe becomes the first Toyota driver ever to win the Daytona 500 pole! Let’s go!
Damn straight buddy!!!!!!! Love this! We are gonna have some fun! James Small loves the guy. He is in the shop. Knows his guys. So damn thankful he signed with JGR!!!!!!!!

and that is good? How many years have they been in the sport?
WE have sucked on super speedway raw speed. No it's not good, but my man @JJ_14 is pointing out that his ride or die made US better, and he is right. POLE! BOOM!

Real racing!!!
I don't know if I agree, 210 MPH is insane. That said, people often mention how "dangerous" plate racing is. How many deaths in NASCAR have happened at superspeedway plate races aside from Dale Sr., which was a freak accident?

Are my assumptions correct for determining the 2025 Daytona 500 starting grid.

The front roll or first two starting positions are already set and will go to the two fastest qualifiers..

Postions 3 through 30 will go to the first 15 finshers in each of the duels (this is where I start to get confused. I'm not sure of how much the format has changed)

Position 31 through 40 go the remaining cars based on qualifying speed?

Yea, I wasn't so much referring to the sheer speed. Mainly the fact it wasn't pack racing going on and on monotonously waiting for the 'big one'. Depending on others to go fast or getting out of line and going backwards is not what racing should be.

I would like to see something close to 200 mph. The laps take so long they should almost score them in two parts lap 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b etc...

When you cherry pick one race at Daytona and act like it was the standard way it went back then, I'm not buying it hook line and sinker. Also in those days there was a large gap between the haves and the have nots, plenty of single file drafting and wrecks a plenty overall. But whatever, you see it one way, I see it another.

You can thank me for the "closed caption" between the driver and crew. I sent that to FOX last year. I grew frustrated not being to understand what they were saying. True story, not sure they did it because of me but I'm taking credit ;)

Bullsiiit!! Why throw the yellow with the entire field on the same straight 200 yards apart?? Bad call, terrible call, horrible call

Sometimes I think they do it to piss Mark Martin fans like me off.
It just makes no sense. They didn't save anybody from getting in a wreck, they were all in a pile just shy of the S/F line. Bush League call.
