Denny is in a lawsuit. He needs to be careful what he says on the subject lest he mistakenly give NASCAR something to turn against him. His lawyers probably prefer he not comment on the subject at all.
But maybe this is what some like about Denny.....He doesn't give a ****?

You sure? He's a shill for his own organization. They overspent and now the dollars don't add up.

After entering into agreement to purchase the charters from SHR and now seeing the the new charter deal, it's obvious these 2 teams overspent and have no option but to sue.

As a side note you'll never get me to feel sorry for 23XI and their claims about being broke after they spent a fortune building that shrine they call "Air Speed"

Michael ****iing Jordan cannot ever "overspend." Not possible.

I'll still have a lower opinion of him and Denny than when this all started because I believe this was their intention when they started a team.
No question. Do they have a vision to make things better, or are they just assholes? Betcha if the good ole boys weren't with them, this would drop like a hot rock. They have the balls to do what the long timers won't...and they are likely being used. However, if they succeed, they gain favor from the old guard. 100% if The Felon (and all of the others for that matter) didn't like this, it wouldn't exist. The Felon has already demonstrated that he would call a driver that isn't his own, and tell him how to drive....you don't think that he would do that with Denny?

Denny Hamlin is right in the big middle of this charter disagreement, has been very vocal on his podcasts, and public statements. He has been involved in the negotiations. He is part of the RTA.

The RTA® membership currently consists of 16 Teams which field 36 cars in the stock car racing premier series.

The RTA is a forum for open dialogue among its race Team members about issues of common interest, provides a point of contact for those who wish to engage with the Teams collectively and a vehicle through which the Teams can speak with a single, common voice.

Denny Hamlin was the self appointed spokesman for the charter dispute 23XI had with Nascar until they shut his happy ass up committee or not. Lol.

Thanks for this....right there in ole Wiki we find Jeffy running his ****** mouth only to hide behind the lawsuit. God I love Hendrick.
Somewhere in there they got a raise, a bigger cut of the pie. I believe this was when the RTA (which was everybody) hired an anti trust lawyer.

Some fans like to point out all of the teams that went "broke", but it was this rule here that made so many of the start and park teams be able to sell their charters to other more competitive teams.

NASCAR later implemented a rule reserving their right to repossess charters belonging to teams finishing in the bottom three of owner points for three seasons in a row at NASCAR's discretion;[18] although, as of 2023, no teams have lost a charter that way

Some of us smile at such a Karen. When the ratings come out and the receipts come in from the full house along with the full hotels, slammed restaurants and everything else that constitutes Nascar Daytona race week, is there anybody foolish enough to think anything is going to change? lol.

Click bait for Hamlin and the rest of the parasitic drain who survive off of the sport. Why doesn't Hamlin start and park? No nuts? Why do the parasites continue to watch it? Do they think the race will be different this time? Most of us with half a brain know what they are going to say before they say it.

Mark the yap yap Martin said it years ago that the fans are the only ones who can change it. Years go by and Daytona continues to grow and prosper.

Denny doesn't drive like a ****head at these places. Many others do. Custer is a great example. Watching Denny on the in car cam is amazing at a super speedway. There's that "some of us" thing again. Denny was about ready to outdrive the **** out of Cindric, but Custer took that from us because he was in over his head. Was in over his head when he took Bell out too....and then yucked it up on pitman. Denny noticed, and I betcha others did too.

I believe Denny was ready to do that about as much as Harvick was ready to "fight" all those times he was being held back tbh.

In my best Hamlin voice "Well that's just plate racin" Some cry more than others. Hamlin has to have his own pod cast for his.

There's a few simple things NASCAR can do to make the racing better at superspeedways, they're just not willing to put the time and money into it to make it happen apparently.

What would those be? Ideally it needs similar racing to the Indy 500 where you need the car and have the ability to slingshot around folks. The symmetrical nature of this car, durable tires and huge spoiler allows them to have these absolutely ridiculous packs

Daytona and Talladega are my least favorite tracks and I don't like that so tell me more...

Good on the podcast. You don't have to listen....but you do, don't you?

Why would I want to listen to yet another cry baby. There are enough around without listening to another. You wouldn't hear a peep out of him if he had won the race. That is why he is a cry baby.

If you are not listening, how do you know he is crying?

The dude literally has 3 Daytona 500 winning cars.
In HIS house.
That HE drove.
To the WIN.
And here he is "peeping".

Less drag and downforce; more horsepower. The latter won't happen obviously and they're not changing the body contours so it all has to be in the front splitter, ride height and rear spoiler.

I agree/already was aware with what has been mentioned above, was hoping for something new.

IMO the only racing that should be full throttle at all times possible is drag racing, not NASCAR.

IMO the RTA is the biggest thing standing in the way of fixing this car. Everytime nascar comes up with a solution the RTA rejects it because of costs.

What recommended change(s) have been rejected by the RTA?
I know there was an aero thing last season Nascar wanted to put on the cars to keep them on the ground Teams and drivers rejected it and again this season we have one taking flight
