The sun is coming up
Too far away for TrailmaterSand Dollar Trail, Holden Beach, Brunswick County, southern coast of NC. March 30, 2025.
The trail is on top of an appx. 40-foot high berm that I think was constructed from the material dredged out to put in several adjacent boat 'driveways'. It's just wide enough to drive on, and much of it has dense shrubbery on both sides. There are some spots with good views of salt marshes and the Intracoastal Waterway.
NO, that is NOT me. I did NOT ask how the truck came to be there. They did say they couldn't get a tow truck to come out. The plan was to pull it out with a chain. Posted with the expressed verbal permission of the young man shown; I assume he was the driver and / or owner.

No, it’s only made the country seem much smaller. From western PA, I’ve learned that I can be anywhere in the 48 states and most of Canada in three days. That opens up many options for us. When the day comes our plan is to rv most of our time.Dpk, does driving for a living decrease your pleasure in rving?
These pics seem to show not. I hope you still enjoy it.

I sold my motorhome a few years ago. I really enjoyed it but just didn't have the time to use it that much. It's awesome that you and your wife get to enjoy it when time permits.
Did that for several years and really enjoyed it. We missed a lot of the upper U.S. though and now wonder why. Spent winters in Mesa, AZ for five or six years before settling in Florida. We maintained a home base but most of our time was on the road. No, it’s only made the country seem much smaller.
