Cable cutters, rejoice

In the past I've been able to watch games after they aired live without selecting the + to add to my list.
Well, I looked and they still have access to the last several P&Q sessions on their NASCAR page. I -assume- if those are still available days or weeks later, the races will be too.

I'm not familiar with what the list does and can't find any decent documentation. I glanced at it but I don't know the purpose of adding shows to it. Eh, can't hurt.

I think the lists are intended on allowing for quick access to shows that you're interested in. That's how I use them. From time to time I'll see shows, while browsing their catalog, that I think I may want to watch in the future. I add them to my list. When I bring up my list in the future, all the shows that peaked my interest are in one place to select from. Almost like a list of shows that are DVR'd.

Ah, so it's like bookmarks instead of having to search the whole catalog?

Thanks.

We use Prime all the time. Once y0u get use to it, it's pretty easy. Just finished 10 seasons of JAG couple weeks ago and now are watching the BOSCH series. 99.9% of our viewing is on Prime or Paramount +. Nascar and racing we DVR and watch.

Once in a while we watch live TV but, that is quite rare as there is nothing of value on live TV anymore.

DIRECTV Stream is definitely better than YouTube TV IMO.

I feel like there’s no point in even paying for ad supported plans anymore. Someone told me to watch yet another movie on Netflix that’s unavailable to me on my ad supported plan. Then I was trying to watch a movie on peacock but I swear they played an ad every three minutes. Either pay for premium, or stick with the free services. Tubi keeps looking better and better.

So, a year into my streaming experience and I've noticed one annoyance with motorsports coverage. What I'm being shown is usually a large fraction of a minute behind comments I'm reading in the live race discussions here. This applies to almost all series I watch, across multiple platforms and networks. If I recall, this was even the case when Amazon was covering Cup and a couple of P&Q sessions on the CW app, coverage delivered only via streaming and not over the air. I'm not clear how others are seeing what's going on as much as a minute before I do.

Same. I live chat (text) with a buddy during Colts games. I had to tell him to slow down since he would tell me it was a TD while I'm still seeing them in the huddle.

My 85 year old aunt is a Colts fan. She's lived in Indy all her life, kind and polite, does the books for her church, tutors reading during the school year, ...

... screams like a banshee in a cactus patch from her season seats.

I am tired of paying multiple service providers for a desired program and event that is complimented by all the othef stuff you didn't want.
Too many services nickel and diming the consumer.

The stick and ball sports demand tax payer supported staduims with ridiculous ticket prices. Then they triple dip it by forcing TV veiwers to buy coverage from multiple services, viewers that are already de facto supporters via the taxes they pay.
Nascar also gets in on some of the pork.

Enough, if I dont get it already on a DirectTv streaming service , I am not forking out any more money. I listened on MRN for the 5 or 6 races on prime this summer. I dont care to sign for a trial then drop later either, they do the same crap with the NFL and sooner or later the free trials are gone.

It is not grass roots anymore, the players are multi millionaires many times over. The sporting leagues will only escalate the cost to a fan base that continues to overpay.

I have finally given up on WWE after they moved their premier live events to the new ESPN streaming service. If I wanna watch it all, I gotta have Netflix, Peacock, USA and the ESPN streaming service. That’s a lot of stations for one show. It’s insane! If it weren’t for NASCAR, I wouldn’t even have Sling. Once the NASCAR season ends, I’ll be service free! It’ll be Pluto TV, Tubi and DVD’s for me.

It's all optional entertainment. If one form does something to turn you off, drop it and move on! Replacements are easy to find.
