Like I am supposed to be shocked? When you give all of the power to the corporations, the people lose their power.
"The people" have nothing to give. NASCAR gave nothing to the corporations; it sold its product in a buyer's market, subject to the economic Golden Rule.Like I am supposed to be shocked? When you give all of the power to the corporations, the people lose their power.
I’m okay with the Amazon side of it, the NFL arrangement along with millions having prime makes it a solid option. Heck my grandparents have Amazon Prime. But leaving network TV is a bad idea, just ask the MLSNASCAR needs to rip this TV contract up, then go sign a 20 year deal with FOX. Whatever FOX doesn’t want, CW and Amazon get.

As a side note, the LPGA has a new multi-year contract that will have every round of every tournament shown on Versant networks Golf Channel or CNBC. I haven't read how Golf is changing its PGA coverage so it can fit in more of the women, but for the short-term, our household would appear to benefit. There are still a lot of sporting events that are only on cable, especially events on Versant networks.

Eh, NASCAR is still going to be on USA on cable, as it was this past fall. If you could find it then, it's not going to have moved. Does anyone watching care who the parent company is?NASCAR and Versant is such a bizarre marriage. Nobody watching NASCAR will watch the LPGA, LOVB, Cait-less WNBA, Temptation Island, Christley Knows Best or MS NOW.
