2026 Nascar Craftsman Truck Series

I havent had a chance to watch the last episode yet, but it was no secret that Mini was the winner.

Watching the show it kinda seemed like the fix was in for Mini. My question was Mini the guy they wanted all along or did the editing just portray it that way?
I haven't seen 10 seconds of it but I'm guessing if Mini was the guy they wanted all along, why would they have bothered with all this? I'll lean toward editing.

For the promotion of the manufacturer
And promoting their driver. We got Mini's life's history. Like you said it could be editing, but when it became evident that Ferguson was a force to contend with, there was nothing like that story line with him. I think they loaded up the series with Cars/late model series drivers and threw in a mod driver, a road racer and a dirt guy in with the dozen others.
Carson Ferguson during his wins, even with them throwing cautions with 4 laps to go he would win his races by a straightaway and he had never done that style of racing. He's a natural talent.

Just watched the last episode. I guess they did as best as the could with putting Mini and Carson in the same car, but having Mini race against the A drivers and Carson race against the R drivers wasn't exactly even

And Mini starts on the front row in the slower group and the driver on the pole wasn't that good. Mimi gets the jump drives away. Carson started in 4th in the toughest group with three of the faster guys he has to pass?

But they used the same cars in both races, so its not like Mini had a better car.
