I bet it resumes tonight. Most of the meteorologists on Twitter who follow NASCAR seem convinced it'll stop raining by 7:30pm local. We start racing by 8:30pm and it's like a regular Bristol night race.

It becomes harder to dry the track at night and they're assuming that "dry slot" doesn't keep filling in.
 
The good news is that the radar is showing that the final shower in sight is going to pass by just West of the track. The bad news is that it seems like even when there's nothing on the radar, it still rains. These rookie kids at the track need to stop having water gun fights!!

If we are going to use the current race logo each week, we might have to coordinate with each other so we are not using the same one, I will make sure mine for Fontana is not the same as yours;)

It's pretty much stopped now, just a very light drizzle. Track is about dry but the pit area is still pretty damp.

I take it you're there? Always nice to have someone on here reporting from the track. I can't do so as my phone is a few centuries old.

Those who attended the Super Bowl probably would have LOVED the weather that Bristol is currently getting.
 
Crap! The Wings are playing the Hawks on NBC Sports Network. Looks like I'm going to be switching back and forth here in the next half hour.

Must have been a faked. get in get out of your car type call up because they're sure not in a hurry to get back to broadcasting this thing.
 
Now, FOX Sports 1 pushes the play button on a K&N broadcast. **** this, I'm done. I, along with most of the country, will be watching Once Upon A Time and Resurrection.
 
Ya ain't gonna find much of a stream if Fox Sports 1 doesn't even air the race.
 
I'm still working for 2 hours so is be happy if they restart about that time.

They actually did a decent job of clearing the track. It looked like showers were on the track all through that red flag, but as soon as the final shower left the area, they were ready to go racing.
