If he maintains the way he's been running, he should be a regular contender. Of course there's the one big variable going into next year for everybody, so who gets it figured out the soonest and best?

He took it well. Can you imagine the whining from KDB in that situation? :laugh:

They're still Indy cars whether they were racing at Indy or not. This from an IRL fan, me.

And other than that, he didn't really have any great cup rides. This guy won 5 Indy car races in 2006, he can compete at any level.

You're doing fine and I appreciate these posts. Count me as another who is weary of burn-outs. Maybe it's the mechanic in me but they don't do anything for me. I also like the idea of VLs being on the front stretch so the fans who paid their money can enjoy them.

The race was an 8. It was just the feckless TV coverage that made it appear to be a 5. Fake sports reporting!
