Sprint, T-Mobile merger: Sprint brand will disappear ...

To be honest, I was kind of skeptical that Sprint was going to stay on long before this merger was announced.

Comcast Xfinity, NASCAR in talks for secondary series title deal

If Comcast and Time Warner Cable really do merge, and Comcast absorbs the TWC sports networks and rebranding them as Comcast SportsNet affiliates, I hope that Comcast uses the TWC sports graphics packages. Time Warner Cable's blow Comcasts out of the water.

Panasonic signs deal to sponser Gordon....thru 2016

I dont really think paint schemes have become basic, myself. I think alot of it is that teams just use the same template even for multiple sponsors.

Weird to see a scheme like this on the #24.

Comcast Xfinity, NASCAR in talks for secondary series title deal

That is true. MLB, NHL, and NBA all rely very heavily on regional sports networks, as do college athletics.

Comcast Xfinity, NASCAR in talks for secondary series title deal

Content isnt just live event coverage. Its also discussing trades, injuries, highlights, covering the draft, hall of fame, the minors, etc. And they play several.

Comcast Xfinity, NASCAR in talks for secondary series title deal

There is more than enough content for other league based networks, especially baseball. MLB has almost 2500 regular season games, no fewer than 26 playoff games, and a myriad of spring training coverage stretching from February to almost November.

Does Brian Vickers not even care anymore?

If he does somehow win this year, I can guarantdamntee it wont be at flipping Sonoma. He is awful at Sonoma and road courses in general.

Sprint, T-Mobile merger: Sprint brand will disappear ...

$3 or 4 a month wont get it. I think Sprint pays like $75 million a year lol I guess we could go to Kickstarter

Sprint, T-Mobile merger: Sprint brand will disappear ...

I actually think this could reverberate through US sports IMO. Both of NASCARS major series are up for new title sponsors in the next few years, and depending on what kind of deal they get, it very well could lead to the other major sports in the country considering adopting title sponsors. A...

Sprint, T-Mobile merger: Sprint brand will disappear ...

Just looked it up, Sprints deal is only through the 2016 season. If the deal happens, I expect T-Mobile will sell the naming rights to a 3rd party who will work out a longer extension with NASCAR.

Sprint, T-Mobile merger: Sprint brand will disappear ...

Isn't Sprint's deal with NASCAR about up anyway? I wouldn't be shocked to see them sell the naming rights. A company like Barclay's could very well get in on it.

Does Brian Vickers not even care anymore?

Being a fan of a driver like Vickers is different. Its not like being a JJ, Rowdy, Keselowski, or Kenseth fan where going into every race you have high expectations of taking the checkered. No, you just hope for a solid run and for your driver to be near the top at the end. Now that is not to...
