Xfinity Restrictor Plates confirmed @ Indy and beyond..... probably to Cup too

The few of you giving this the benefit of the doubt, perhaps you'll trust a Cup Champions opinion. Taking away horsepower would make passing even harder.

April possible date for future spring NASCAR PIR race?

I would buy the West Coast Swing as a more legitimate problem. I'm sure many fans would have attended more than one of these races before but don't now.

Xfinity Restrictor Plates confirmed @ Indy and beyond..... probably to Cup too

Again, it will not be Daytona or Talladega. The only way I could see this being remotely like the plate racing we know is if they bring back the wicker bill package that punched a massive hole in the air for drafting/passing.

April possible date for future spring NASCAR PIR race?

It is clear NASCAR should only hold races on Tuesday mornings. Then there will be no conflicts.

Jayski.com: Las Vegas Motor Speedway downsizing?

If they'd just downsize the track to .75-1 mile, they could avoid downsizing the capacity.

    Late Race Pit Stop Rationale

Yesterday was a rare case of a driver being able to hang on to a car on old tires. We've seen many cases where the guy who stays out falls like a rock. Every driver worries 'If I stay out, everyone behind me will pit.' This mentality exists whether you are 1st coming to pit road or 21st.

    Driver comfort vs athletisicm

It's not absurd to say driver comfort should be limited. Why not take it to the extreme? Why not full-on air-conditioning? Let the drivers race in cool, 70-degree comfort. If you don't agree with that, then we're just discussing matters of degree (pun intended).

    Driver comfort vs athletisicm

Dang, I guess this is my most unpopular opinion I've posted on this site. 18 posts and no one agrees.

    Driver comfort vs athletisicm

I instigated a debate on this topic in the race thread which was getting us off topic. But, I'm curious, why everyone seems to be so one-sided in their opinion that drivers should be as comfortable in the car as possible. In particular, I'm referring to the fans and so-called 'air-conditioning.'...

We had a fake caution at Atlanta. I guarantee Nascar wouldn't have let the last 162 laps run caution free.
