    Rate The Race: Kentucky

4 I like Truex but he really stunk up the show. Larson making way up through the field was about the only good racing. But to be fair, I think any race that comes after Daytona or Talledega is going to be a little boring.

We've reached the mid point of the season. Biggest surprise so far?

Most pleasant surprise is Blaney in the Wood Brothers car, most disappointing is lack of wins by Gibbs Racing.

    Bonehead of the week: Michigan-Gateway

As much as I think Kyle is a great driver, I'll have to say that move to block on the 1st lap was the bonehead of the week.

8 thought the race was pretty good. Congrats to Larson. I think he will be the next generation top driver. Just wondering how long it will take for Hendricks to snatch him away.

    Rate The Race: Pocono 1

10 great to see the 21 team back in victory lane and Blaney drove the wheels off of it keeping it ahead of Harvick.

    Truck RACE thread --- Texas

Don't know how Nascar came up with who won, but it was a good race other than that. I would give that a 9.

    Rate the Race --- Charlotte

A little late but I'm gonna give this one a 6. Some good racing, but if I wanted to see a fuel mileage race I would have rather they had VW Beetles competing against Toyota Prius.

2018 NASCAR Hall of Fame class

I'm sure he was deserving, but at that rate Kyle Bush should be in next years.

2018 NASCAR Hall of Fame class

A little surprised at Hornaday making it in. Glad Yates , Squires, and Byron got in. Was hoping Davey would have made it.

"Worst" Driver to win a Cup Championship in the past 30 years (1987-)

I've think they are all great drivers, but some of the earlier drivers probably wouldn't be Champions if they had raced under the same rules that the drivers who won under the Chase rules. But got to admit, Kulwicki was pretty amazing to have done it the hard way with his own team. That was...

Rate The Races: Cup Open And The All-Star race

Open :7 All-Star: 4 Such a big let down after such a big buildup. Truck Race was better. Green Tires went sour.

    The Open RACE thread

It almost looked like that was David Pearson giving Blaney some driving instructions there after he won the 2nd segment.

Guess I can relate to someone feeling that way, that's how I feel when Johnson wins. But it was a good race.

Good Bye, Brandon, Greg's son --- sad news

So sorry to hear of your loss Greg. Looks like heaven has gained another angel. Sounds like you two have made many great memories together that you can hold onto until you meet again.

    9. Would have been a 10 but I hate to see a driver have to be air lifted out.

    Cup RACE thread --- Kansas

Caution might be the break Blaney needed. He good on fresh tires.

    Cup RACE thread --- Kansas

As much as I like Truex, I'd still like to see Blaney get a win for the Wood Bros.
