Yeah, no kidding, I think why NASCAR went with how took the white first because there wasnt a scoring loop to use between the start/finish and the part of the track where the caution came out , I am just guessing, and I could be wrong.

But yeah, the winner should of been who was leading when the caution came out.

Yes, for some reason only NASCAR knows, they chose to use who took the white flag first instead who was leading when the caution came out:owquitit:

This is more of a legit case than that. I've always seen them go by video when it's for the win. Chase was ahead when it went yellow. Bell was handed that one, and I like Bell.
 
Unless that Ford is a foot shorter than that yota, Briscoe was in front when the lights came on

I've always thought scoring loops were used until the white flag, then the leader would be determined based on video at the moment of caution.

Did this change?
 
Don't know how Nascar came up with who won, but it was a good race other than that. I would give that a 9.
 
What the ****? So now whoever crosses the flag prior to caution is the leader? What happened to caution lights? The caution before that, the leader was determined by the lights. ****** B Squad is down in Texas, apparently.

Speaking of B Squad, Vince Welch is a jackass.

Brad has every right to be mad. NASCAR sucks at officiating their own damn sport. Egg on their face as always.
 
I don't know who came up with the B.S. If your not first your last. Briscoe couldn't get the grin off his face..that was cool. He's was already setting it up at Gateway..short track time.

There's a delay between when the caution is called and when it actually comes out. Bell won on a technicality. As I said in the porn thread, this is why you don't end races under caution.

Oh, and Mark Martin won the 2007 Daytona 500.
 
I hope Nascar comes up with something better than a shady photo and an explanation..there needs to be something better than that.

In every yellow during the past several years, I remember the caution lights being the end-all-be-all.
