That, or make it more worth while for those teams locked in by winning or finishing good

I think this race is un-entertaining because it's only really meaningful to 3 or 4 teams that can get into the chase. The rest of the teams are either riding around until it's over, or bringing up the rear like the back marker teams usually do.
