    Advocare renews sponsorship of Bayne

Coming off a week where all four cars finished 20th to 26th , I think someone in management should be on the way out . I like Bowyer and think he will / can be up there with Kevin , if they can assemble a team for him . I am not as confident in the company as a whole . Have they written the...

JR Motorsports grabs Pilot Flying J bucks (and Michael Annett)

Seems like a big step up for Pilot / Flying J . May be people to watch

    Advocare renews sponsorship of Bayne

This is all assuming they can pull it back together during a change in manufacturer . With big help from Penske like they had from HMS , maybe , with big help from Roush , not so much . I also see this as an ownership change , in some respects . Tony may turn out to be a great 'hands on' owner...

    Advocare renews sponsorship of Bayne

Could be the result of a sagging relationship with GM and HMS .If that's the case I wouldn't expect much from SHR in the remaining races.

    Advocare renews sponsorship of Bayne

All of the SHR cars finished between 20th and 26th at Martinsville . The 10 car was what ? 6th ? in the first practice and got steadily worse through the weekend . I know Danica is an awful person and a worse driver , but that company needs to improve next year . Normally , a change in...

    Advocare renews sponsorship of Bayne

Why wouldn't Danica's sponsor be paying ? I thought she was a cash cow? Only there because of the money she brings in! You guys change your message more than politicians.

    How To Watch Nascar

Well it sure beats watching golf . One person said on here that Nascar will die when Junior leaves I'm not sure about that , but I do see a trend in North America today , where our preoccupation with celebrity far outstrips everything else . We pay celebrities far too much money , give them...

Bonehead of the week: Talladega II

I guess we are the only ones who have seen this many times before . Joey and his crew knew exactly what the protocol is . You try to shake loose whatever part is on your car because you are going to get black flagged. If you can cause the caution flag to come out , you can serve your penalty...

    points racing is back baby!

I agree . First place pays the most points. If your car can 't get you first then you try for second. Finishing as high as you can with what you got is points racing.

    Discontent with Nascar

To me , push to pass would be great in the hands of my Favorite driver , but I wouldn't want to see it in the hands of the competition . Even the stupidest of drivers are gonna catch on how the other drivers are getting by them . Then the stupid ones are going to use it to pass them back . It's...

    Discontent with Nascar

Still , In my opinion , unique tracks like New Hampshire , Dover , Pocono , Michigan , Indy ,etc ., traditionally get the lowest ratings on here . Am I wrong ?

Where was I when points racing became a negative ? Does anyone remember when that happened?

Bonehead of the week: Talladega II

Not watching the race today . I'm sitting at a gambling casino drinking beer while the wife is gambling away her old age pension check . Believe me Skoal , if you are incensed , I am incensed . Never have I been this outraged. If it makes you feel any better , I am going to have a Bud Light for...

    Discontent with Nascar

I get that rules need to be tweeked . Like the rules for how and when crewmen in Nascar go over the wall to service a car . Doesn't change the game . Football doesn't change the number of downs , that would be stupid . Nascar fundamentally changes the game for no reason.

Bonehead of the week: Talladega II

Yes and there are already rules for unintentionally removing equipment from your pit stall . Rules and penalties are already in place so why , due to this one instance , are folks wanting more rules?

Bonehead of the week: Talladega II

Great , another new rule . How about another new rule for running through that red flag . And another one for crew coming out on pit road to grab the jack. And another one for backing up on pit road to get back into your pit stall while others are leaving. We can come up with hundreds of new...

    Discontent with Nascar

Wow sure is a lot of discontent there. It was said , and I agree, that for the most part all of this was self inflicted . Nascar reinvents itself , monthly . We get a steady diet of new rules and gimmicks. No other sport feels the need to do this. Golf is golf , football is football , baseball...
