Moving Homestead to spring break season, stupid.
Moving Kansas spring race to a hotter date, plus running it during the day, stupid.
Moving Indy to Independence Day weekend, when they have no lights, which means no fireworks show afterwards and the day time temp is beyond too hot, extremely...
Or end this stage **** all together and award a bonus to whoever leads the most laps, like they used to? I have yet to see any driver actively over drive their car for a stage point, it is a stupid system, that has ruined more races than helped.
Good, I can accept Honda and Nissan, since they’ve been involved with racing for decades. But Hyundai is like Samsung, cheap, poor quality build, that bought a bunch of positive press and won over the contrarian crowd.
The nbc booth is just a cluster**** of unintelligible noise. They seriously need to give burton and letart a heavy dose of Ritalin or just give them the boot. Rick Allen is just a poor man joe buck, but last year he seemed to mellow out and step aside while the motor mouths kept making asses of...
Stages, chases, and cookie cutting is what led to the collapse. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to fix the problem, but a person willing to swallow their pride is definitely warranted.

I like how a month ago people were starting to grumble about the lack of cautions and now suddenly we’re getting 3 cautions per stage. Add the drop in speeds and that was the longest 600 not affected by rain I can remember.
Nah, Indy better be the first race cut from the schedule, followed by every second race at the cookie cutters. The exhibition races are fine for what they are.
I say one lap counter clockwise, drift pit it, then a lap clockwise.
Three to 5 cars hooking up couldn’t pull away from the field after green flag pit stops? The outer lane occasionally worked. A car losing a bit of spoiler air didn’t cause a 20 car pile up.
There are way too many people watching 48 hours. Also I spent most of the night switching between boxing and the race, post season nba and nhl is too long drawn out to give a crap about the first two rounds. Once the conference games and finals begins, I might watch occasionally.
If this race is anything like last year, where the stages were slightly longer than the fuel window, causing the cars to scatter, resulting in one of the worst races in talladega’s history, I’m done for the year. I’m pretty much at rock bottom as far as being entertained.
I use to go to Richmond and martinsville during the worst of the depression 2008 to 2011, even during this period they were bragging about sellouts and we ended up sitting in turn 3. There are just no excuses anymore, the cars really suck the fun out the race. Nobody is getting side by side...
Reddit definitely has a few nascar plants. I’m sure this board has a couple also. But this is nothing new or really much of a corporate deep state. Try going on twitter, Facebook, or reddit and criticize anything with a decent financial backing. I dare anyone to criticize Tesla’s recent decision...
2, it just bores me now. Hopefully talladega is an entertaining show, but if it is a repeat from last year, I’m checking out until the 500. The cars simply don’t let anyone drive side by side anymore.
