I have adjusted the CSS so that images in signatures have a maximum height of 200 pixels. This will automatically scale down any image that is larger. I'm also playing around with the idea of making sigs "fade out" unless you move your mouse over them, so that they don't dominate the content...

Not quite. I've been playing around with it at XiBase here and there, but not to this degree. I installed it over there, converted from the old board, and installed a couple of styles and tweaked some colors. Over here I've been tinkering all over the place.

I blame XenForo for being so damned easy to customize. Much of this stuff is just CSS, which is all the change to the smilies box required. (change a width from 156px to auto)

The smilies menu should now extend all the way to the right edge of the window when it pops up. :beerbang:

There we go. I have also made them stand out more when there are unread posts (highlighted background), so as to avoid the "sticky blindness" effect that the designer claimed was the reason they were bunched together with the rest of the threads.

Conversations are limited to you and whoever you invite to it. That "Start a Conversation" link only invites that one person; you have to specifically type other people's names into the box in order for anyone else but you and them to see it. They're basically like threads, but private instead...

Well, IE8 doesn't exhibit the problem for me (as much? hard to tell whether it's this problem, or if IE8 on the computer I'm using is just dog slow), but your mileage may vary. I recommend upgrading to IE8 at the very least in any case, due to the lack of security fixes in IE7.

Kinda had to expect that to happen. It's too long of a race to keep the packs up the whole way through. How are some of these guys -280 laps but still not out? Just keeping on running it in case everybody in front of them crashes and burns?
