    '21 Generation 7 Car news

I would love to see side view mirrors and a production looking body! What about actual doors on the car? Do we really still need to get into the car through the window?

KIA has the Stinger coupe which i think is a good fit with the other muscle cars. But they don't have a truck to support the truck series. Dodge has the RAM and Nissan has the Titan. But who knows what Kia has up it's sleeves going forward. Some new truck they want to promote? Also Honda would...

What the casual fan thinks of Nascar

"Other than Michigan you are pretty much stuck with 1.5 mile tri ovals that produce clone yawners." "Clone Yawners" This made me laugh. I'm stealing that one!

NASCAR 2019 - Bold Prediction Thread

Thought they would give the pole to McMurray like they gave it to others in the past, since it was his last race before retiring. Oh well. Better luck next year.

RACE thread --- Duels from Daytona

This is exactly why the new aero package will be a disaster because now we will have the big one at every cookie cutter. Teams will be ticked that they have torn up so many cars this year!

    Plate racing needs to go!

It's not the plate tracks, it's the aero package. I definitely agree that the plate racing has not been as exciting in the past couple of years as it has been prior to that. Not sure why that is, but I remember cars being able to get a run down the backstretch in order to setup and pass coming...

    NASCAR - Television Ratings Thread

I have always noticed that if iRacing's package is consistent with the Cup series, you can get a really good feel for how a race will play out. I remember when Chicago started wearing through tires pretty quickly, that some guys would manage their tires and stay out as long as they could while...

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

Oh count me in as one of the guys that loves to root against Kyle! That said, I respect his talents tremendously and would hate to see him leave. Nascar needs more guys like him not fewer.

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

Mosport would be a great fit but there are several other great options. I would also see if I could get the Pinty's drivers involved somehow.

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

I like the current length of the schedule, but understand why people want it shorter. My only suggestion would be to make sure that tracks with more than one date run two different formats, i.e. 400 miles with stages, and 500 without. NASCAR needs to get back to making each event unique rather...

    2019 Bathurst 12 Hour

PICK THE WINNER OF EVERY RACE 2019

I think this is the year of Kyle Busch. I think this will be his prime year since Ford will have to work with a new car and Chevy is still figuring things out. I'm not a KB fan, but I see Toyota crushing the field this year, and MTJ just not quite as good as previous years. Good luck to all...

Rick Hendrick: "Some things are going to happen in the next 24 months" re: new schedule, OEMs

NASCAR should be the same way considering it is called "Stock Car" racing. IMSA is definitely more stock than NASCAR in many aspects.

    IMSA 2019

COTA stinks. The track design is a disaster that leads to limited passing areas. That's why events flop there.

    Las Vegas test 1/31-2/1

It will be interesting to see what happens on the longer runs if the tires start wearing. Right now, on the shorter runs, I see single file racing mid to high line with it being very difficult to pass because no one wants to step out of line and risk being freight trained. I think you will need...
