RACE thread ---- The Open and the All-Star

unpopular take: I was super excited for the return of NWS. Watched the truck race... was good racing The cup cars.... about put me to sleep. The track is excellent, the cup cars suck on it. NASCAR needs to fix their short track package. happy to see a full house of 25k show up, and I hope...

Ross Chastain is a Future Star

I'm torn on Ross On one hand, I love the fact he's racing hard every single lap, at every track, and all he wants is to take the checkered flag. That's what racing is all about. Drive your ass off and go get a victory. On the other hand, I find him to be a grade A d-bag, and very punchable...

    Cup RACE thread --- Kansas

Kansas race was so nice, I had to watch it twice. re-watched it last night. absolutely fantastic racing. as a motorsport junkie, this would be my second favorite race of the season thus far (of all motorsports).

    Woohoo! (Wilkesboro)

I can tell you right now, that if the race is even half-exciting as I think it could be, and if the NW returns as a points paying race, I would fly and attend in person. my first Cup race in person since 2007. (I live in Iowa, and was a season ticket holder at Iowa Speedway, and went to every...

    Woohoo! (Wilkesboro)

I can't wait to watch racing at North Wilkesboro. It went away before my time, and I never got to enjoy it. I've watched old races on Youtube, and I think we're in for a helluva race.

    Darlington Pre-Race & Throwbacks

The UPS scheme I think is my favorite so far. 1. it's hot 2. it's perfect trolling of FedEx and his best friend Denny Hamlin

    Bonehead of the week: Kansas

maybe, maybe not. we'll never know. Larson was getting very loose, and Denny was way better in turns 3/4 then he was in turns 1-2.

    Darlington Pre-Race & Throwbacks

one of the few weekends I get really excited for NASCAR, the throwback weekend. So many great schemes, and I usually love the racing at Darlington too. A top 5 favorite race track for me, in the world.

    Bonehead of the week: Kansas

my vote is Noah kid is an idiot, walks over there all tough, then grabs Ross.... and gets punched right in the face, and wasn't able to connect any of his own. honorable mention: denny hamlin for ruining what was setting up to be an epic finish at the start/finish line.

"Let’s fight": The inside story of Ross Chastain’s lost ride, a settled grudge, and a bonus ride...

One of the only things that NASCAR going for itself right now.... is Ross Chastain. He gives people a reason to tune in, and buy tickets. Majority of fans think he's a douchebag, and a dirty racer (myself included). So I tune in, hoping to see somebody finally give to him what he's had coming...

    2025 NASCAR TV contract

that's something I'm really hoping that NASCAR does. right now, as a non-baseball fan... I really have nothing to watch sports wise in the summer on a weeknight. I think it'd be a TV success, but may be hard to sustain a large crowd at a racetrack on a wednesday night.

    Coy Gibbs

I'm at a loss of words. I feel horrible for Joe to have to bury another son. I feel even worse for Ty who just lost his dad, hours after he won the championship. life is cruel sometimes. Godspeed to Coy, RIP racer.

Jimmy Johnson back to NASCAR as part owner of Petty GMS

There have been rumors of Kyle Busch doing the double in 2023. I would love to see that, and Jimmie as well, but those rumors have died down unfortunately.

Jimmy Johnson back to NASCAR as part owner of Petty GMS

Jimmie was a great restrictor plate racer. I'm confident he'll do just fine ;)
