There is no wave around in IndyCar.
Yes there is. It is not procedurally the same, but on a caution in which lead lap cars are pitting, has the same effect.

Simona a respectful p26
They'll just lose the lap again when they have to pit, assuming running like bats out of Hell doesn't result in having to pit before any caution.Yes there is. It is not procedurally the same, but on a caution in which lead lap cars are pitting, has the same effect.
There's no rule guaranteeing a lap back under yellow.
They know the gloves come off at 30 to go. Just be there on the lead lap.I like how the vets are just chillin' right now.
Makes things squirt for a living."Hey Babe, I work in Indy Car"
"Oh yeah, what do you do?"
"I'm a combustible vapor eradication engineer".
"A what"?
"I'm the water squirter guy during a fuel stop"...
Good stuff....
It’s like 30-33 iirc. Are the fuel tanks on an Indy car small? Why are they having to pit every 15 laps or so? That seems like a small window to me.
In his position, I'd be thinking about how quickly I can clear the parking lot.Dixon is going to need to start thinking about almost running the fuel tank dry
and running the tires to the cords before coming in again.
They’ve been saving fuel since like lap 10.Are the fuel tanks on an Indy car small? Why are they having to pit every 15 laps or so? That seems like a small window to me.
The penalty was devastating but that save in the pits was impressive, coulda made his mistake much worse.Hate that for Scott, first major mistake we've seen him make.
