Hopefully they remember to send that Thank-You card in to Smoke.
MRN's story was the jackman didn't look to his right before he dropped the car.
I don't get how the 22 can drag a jack all the way around Talladega and win the race while an unintentional accident for the 18 gets half his team suspended for 4 weeks.

Don't get me started. JLo is is on track with dragging a projectile around while actively trying to dislodge it and that ain't nothin but a lil thang. Kyle's team makes a rare miscue during a pit stop and the world is ending. Nascar has no integrity but we already knew that.
serving a penalty or a fine for either car has nothing to do with winning the race .
Someday NASCAR will be on the Cartoon Network.
Maybe Kyle's mic drop and walk-off didn't set well with the penalty po-po.Don't get me started. yep. this.Who won the race means nothing to me. The 22 team gets nothing for driving around trying to dislodge a jack that could have ruined a driver's day or injured a driver or fan. Kyle Busch has a miscue and presents no danger to the field or the fans and the CC gets the boot for 4 races. It is no wonder the series continues to lose fans.

The penalty was invented for something else..and it was, it was over the loose lug nut thing in which the jackman wouldn't be involved. That is why it doesn't make sense..and there is nobody around with half a brain or wheelbase that could make a decision differently.NASCAR should realy look more into the incident than just going by the book. Jackman was at fault and gets no punishment. Actually dont mind the CC suspension all that much as I think hes made some questionable calls this year.
somebody gets a hangnail...Nascar looses fans. What a joke. Logano got penalized and so did the 18 car.

sure wish they would loose a few here that call themselves that.
Show me the rule that says they should have? How many races were JLo's crew chief and jack man suspended?
And, there we have it from a true authority on half wheelbases.
This is an insane rule.
I know safety and all but if they were ever thinking about safety they would have never let these guys self police with the nuts rule.
Now you're punishing them for something you let happen in the first place? Pathetic
that is where the rule came from..got a problem with it? got talk to NascarAnd, there we have it from a true authority on half wheelbases.
This rule was a knee jerk reaction for the lug nut rule and they used it for the two loose wheels they had last weekend. It doesn't fit what happened for sureThis is an insane rule.

What happened in both cases this weekend was an accident, but it's a rule. If you let this slide what's to stop a team from putting on a few lug nuts only to "accidentally drop the jack"?
sorry that figure of speech was over your head DanicerA rule against half wheelbases.
Imagine that.
In the past NASCAR might look at the incident and rule on the loose wheel and leave the crewman out of it. But they've had to further define the rules due to consistency criticism from a variety of sources (including us) which takes judgement out of the picture. It hope one rule will be re-evaluated.
