Oh lord and lady above. I'm not sure I can watch all 600 miles. I may just check NASCAR.com for updates from time to time.
 
I wish they didn't put the longest race of the year under the lights on a Sunday. Monday mornings man :whoopee:
 
Getting set up for the dog days when the pretenders are separated from the contenders. It's been a very good race year so far and it should only get better!.
 
I'd like to see a NASCAR endurance race on an oval. Like 12 hours or something. damn can you imagine?

Yeah, the Coke 600 has produced quite a few first time winners: David Pearson, Jeff Gordon, Bobby Labonte, Matt Kenseth, Casey Mears, and David Reutimann all got career win #1 in this race.

May we see another first time winner on Sunday?

Larson, this is his type of race. I expect both Gannassi cars to contend

Indy 500 Green Flag: Sunday May 25 1 PM ET on ABC

Coke 600 green flag @ 6:16 pm
 
I have always loved the 600 there is only one.
 
Here is a eastern time suggested schedule

Monaco starts at 8am. Get up 7:30 drink coffee, shower, etc

8am race starts , should finsh by 10 am

Eat a brunch.that can be prepared in the time frame, and is substantial enough to cover the 500.

11:10 am - Military Recognition Lap - Track
11:33 am - Indianapolis 500 Driver Introductions - Track
11:43 am - America the Beautiful - Track
11:45 am - Military Address - Track
11:47 am - God Bless America - Track

That is 10 am Monday morning for me....I wonder what time I have to get up for the Indy500??....:eek:

Fortunately I have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off......:dirtbike:
 
The 500 is probably my most anticipated race of the year. From Jim Nabors to the beautiful Mari Hulman George.
 
The 500 starts at noon...4am for me.....Ouch!

Think I'll DVR Monaco... :D

It'd have to be a Bristol or Dover. Engines couldn't last on a faster track. Brakes wouldn't last at any of the low-banked tracks.

And yeah...that'd be awesome! Only 8 cars would make it to the finish, but still, awesome. :)

Please join me in calling the liars and ask them to stop lying about being in Concord.

Perhaps they have caused you to inadvertently lie when you said "I will be watching the races in Charlotte".

Stop the BS now dont let Bruton make a liar out of you anymore (and having to explaining that it is all Brutons fault is just like a really way, way totally AWKWARD conversation killer.)

So please call them hourly (555) 555-3200 until they do the right thing.

I'm only interested in one of the three races. The 600 starts at 3pm. That gives me time to take a motorcycle ride to the beach, feast seafood and be back in time for driver intros. :)
