I have my dvr already set and ready to go. I'm taking some friends to the airport on Thur morning so they can attend the Vegas race, but i can't go because i will be at a boat race all weekend. I don't know why a drag race and a boat race here in southern California ended up on the same weekend as the nascar race in Vegas only 250 miles away.

Great facility to attend. Good racing, lots of passing, generally involves some different pit strategies.
Can't wait :)

I don't know what that means and I don't want to know.

(ON THE CHALLENGES OF LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.): “We tested earlier this year at Nashville (Tenn.), and Las Vegas is a little more high banked compared to Nashville. And Las Vegas is extremely rough going into Turn 1.

“The challenges we will face at Vegas are the same challenges we have faced in the past. We’re up against the loads (of the car) in general at speed but also trying to get over these bumps, and that’s very, very challenging. You can run up high (to avoid bumps in Turn 1), but even then usually your left-side tires are on them.” - Gordon

Last night on the local news they showed a nice segment about Jeff Gordon being here in southern California yesterday promoting the Fontana race. The way the Nascar and Nhra schedules are this year i won't be able to make the Fontana race. But, i think i will be able to go to the Nascar hauler parade on Thur because i probably won't fly back to Chicago to get our hauler for our Vegas race until Fri morning. Depending on what time i leave the shop Friday night or Saturday morning, i should meet most of the Nascar haulers on interstate 40 heading back to their shops in NC some where between Amarillo Tx and Albuquerque Nm sometime Monday morning.
