Hmmm.. that's with a night race... I wonder what they would do for an afternoon race. Move the cup race back or do the NNS race after? Guess (maybe) we'll find out.

RaceDay would still be on. It's FS1. Nationwide is ESPN.Oh wow eh... thatd be awesome.. wake up.. race! NNS race instead of RaceDay lol
Kinda looks like it.
If they do that how do they clear out the people that only have Nationwide tickets before the cup race ??? It seems like it would be impossible to do that
It's been done, as far as I know not on the cup race day though, but as DP say's It's a logistical nightmare and probably wont happen.This.
They aren't going to change the time of the Cup race to accommodate the Nationwide race. The Nationwide race will run on Monday if there is a risk of it affecting the timing of any of the tracks schedule for the Cup race. I was at Dover when the rained out Friday Truck race was held Saturday morning before the Nationwide race. It had to be run @ either 8 or 9am the day of the Nationwide race. What really sucked was that they had to completely empty out the facility of fans and have them reenter for the Nationwide race. It's a logistics nightmare.

That never even occurred to me... it'd be nice to get away with staying for the cup race if u only bought NNS tickets.Yeah, they have to get everyone out of the place and then start taking tickets to get them back in. Not easy but it can be done.
Happens all the time at college basketball tournaments. If they do that how do they clear out the people that only have Nationwide tickets before the cup race ??? It seems like it would be impossible to do that

There is a word for that, uh what was it, uh oh yeah larceny. That never even occurred to me... it'd be nice to get away with staying for the cup race if u only bought NNS tickets.
Yeah, that wouldn't happen. That never even occurred to me... it'd be nice to get away with staying for the cup race if u only bought NNS tickets.
Obviously not...Yeah, that wouldn't happen.
Qualifying: groups for positions 1-36, Friday, February 28 at 6:35pm/et, TV-FS1, no re-air scheduled.
Looking forward to the new qualifying procedure this week. I never bothered reading the thread about it to figure out how it works. Figured I'd just see for myself and let them explain it to me as it's happening.
Thanks, dpk.^^^
My hats off the the hauler drivers on these nascar teams. For them to race all day and half the night at Daytona and then load up and drive 500 miles back to their shop and unload and reload and then drive 2100 miles in 36 hours to Phoenix is a very grueling trip even with two drivers on the truck.

Yep, without them we wouldnt be seeing much racing. They treat their rigs well too, always clean and well kept, that means a lot too me cause Im a truck lover
I like to get my trucks all muddied up.
That's what they're made for!
Whats mud ??? it dont grow in this climate
Nascar haulers are better taken care of then probably any race haulers out there. They have to keep them looking sharp for all the hauler parades. I take a lot of extra care with the one that i drive. I have all the aluminum fuel tanks and wheels cut and polished at Dannys truck resort in Phoenix on the way to Florida every year and then i just hit them with a little polish about once a month and they stay pretty good. I'm going to have to find a new place this year because i'm not going through Phoenix this year. On the way back from Pomona Ca a couple of weeks ago i stopped at the chrome shop mafia in Joplin Mo and bought all new led tail, turn, and brake lights for the back door. Wow, those lights are bright...so if anyone runs in the back of me now it's not because they couldn't see me. I don't want the same thing that happened to Danicas hauler happen to meYep, without them we wouldnt be seeing much racing. It doesn't here either. I just wanted to disagree with you on that one.

I spoke too soon, we might have the makins of some mud saturday according to the weather report. I think I was in high school the last time it rained here

http://exploreclarion.com/2012/06/08/danica-patrick-truck-involved-in-accident-near-knox/You cant beat LED lights, we use them on all our dump trucks and trailers but a lot of them get stolen from our equipment if we leave it overnight on a job. out here they will steal just about anything you can imagine, we lost 6 alternators off our equipment in one night last year, pissed me off cause they took all the brackets and hardware too plus they cut all the wires
On the new Q format debuting tomorrow:
- “There is a lot that’s going to go into it ,and I think we all have a lot to learn on how we want to approach it,’’ Joey Logano said. “You’re going to have to change your game plan as it goes because if you’re sitting near that bubble spot what do you do? Do you go back out and put more heat in your motor and more laps on your tires and heat in your tires? Or do you just kind of wait it out and hopefully no one bumps you?’’
- “You don’t want to be the first guy on the race track,’’ Allmendinger said, noting how slick the track can be early in a session. “Everybody is going to be sitting (there) ... and going, ‘OK, OK who is going to go, oh (no) there is 10 minutes to go.’
“That’s what makes knockout qualifying so much fun because there are so many different strategies that you can play. At some point, you’re going to roll out there and be on your lap, and some guy is going to pull out in front of you and it’s going to kill you on your lap. It’s going to be a lot of fun.’’
- “Moving through those segments, you’re going to see people make a quick adjustment and tune themselves right into the game or, more importantly, tune themselves right out of the game,’’ Clint Bowyer said. “It’s going to be cool.’’
I can't wait until tomorrow qualifying is going to be interesting.
LEDs also make everyone in the opposite lane of traffic or anyone infront of you hate you so much they'd rather cut you open & hang you by your entrails than be blinded by your arrogant lights.Holy crap !!!! I coulda got free Danica trinkets for my grandbaby
Believe it or not the LED tailights come on a lot faster than the old lights do, supposed to amount to 15 or 20 feet more distance to stop when you see brake lights. I have compared them and its true, the LED lights are much faster
