Weather looking good at the moment. A cool breeze has picked up.... blowin' the rain in I bet.

I think we're good weather wise until at least 9. The stuff on the radar is moving slow, and the track is on the eastern side of the city.
 
Yep, judging by the radar, we are good to halfway, which could be very interesting! The rain is about 108 miles away and moving about 15 to 20 miles per hour.
 
This is the 3rd most excited I've been for any race. Most was the August Bristol race last year, because we were there. After it was the 2010 Daytona pothole race, also attended (first race).

But this one just is electric. Wish I was there. I know a lot of purists do not love the changes to the format - but damn. This is incredibly exciting.

Won't be much love lost tonight.

About the only thing I think that could be better than what we will see - is this same race taking place in Bristol instead. :)

Well, we were going to tailgate but it's just too damned hot. So we decided to just cool it in the hotel awhile and then go have wings and beer at Buffalo wild wings. It was great.
Got our cooler stocked now headed towards the track.

I don't get your math :confused:

Shouldn't the rain arrive in just over 5 hours?
 
Hopefully it rains at halfway and someone surprising wins there way into the chase
 
I wonder how many extra Chase spots will be created as a result of tonight's race ;)

I don't know...I barely passed math class every year in High School. To be fair...I said we are good to halfway. I didn't say how much farther past that we are good till.
 
All of these hideous looking dudes with smoking hot chicks is mind blowing.
