The Deuce or the Double Deuce may be favourites here.
They work so well as team mates.

Hopefully these severe storms today and tomorrow miss the track.

I love me some Dega, doesn't get any better than this. Kasey never has luck on plate tracks but this is one of the races that i dont care who wins cause I know the race will be great.

Outside of smaller teams having a much better chance to win, I don't see the appeal of restrictor plate races. Tandems were a little more interesting and then they did away with those.

How can you get more exciting then cars going 200mph inches apart.

I don't care for plate racing but I am looking forward to Talladega and the new aero package/drafting rules.

Me too. Talladega and Daytona has always been on my list of favorite tracks. People can complain all they want about it being a crap shoot but most of the time the cream rises to the top.
Yep, count me in too.

Don't get me wrong, for years I was a huge plate racing fan. But in recent years the drivers have just went into single file train mode for 3/4 of the race. The first 5 laps after a restart are fun to watch before they all play follow the leader and of course the last 50 is go-time. I dont know if its an aero-package or what but the Daytona and 'dega races in the 90s never seemed to have a dull moment in the middle. Maybe it was because I was younger... but now its just plain boring to watch, atleast on TV, these cars play freight train for 190 laps. I do prefer the pack over tandem racing though. Atleast when drivers are in a pack and not single file, they have to rely on pure skill and talent to guide and push them inches from one another. They are on pins and needles. One fan from the stands sneezes the wrong way and all hell is gonna break loose. Tandem was just like watching practice and drivers hoping their car wouldn't overheat before it was too late.

Chance 2 of 4 for Danica to win or top 10 this here mofo.

Never heard of ice cream? ;)

Sometimes, the cream rises to the top of the fence. Then I scream, you scream, we all scream....wait, I think I confused myself again. What were we talking about?

Same. Tastes have changed - it was exciting as a kid but now I'd much rather watch a natural race at a almost any other track. Being in attendance at the Nationwide 300-miler at Daytona last year didn't help. I hate how FOX just loves to glorify the Big One; all of their promos at Richmond had Stewart on his roof.

As far as tandems go, I'm certain Edwards mentioned when he was broadcasting the Nationwide race here last year that tandem racing was more challenging than pack racing.

This has been or had been one of my favorite race tracks.

I still enjoy watching the Truck and Nationwide race but when it comes to the cup race I just no longer enjoy it as much. Alot of it has to do with the ridiculous string of bad luck Gordon has had here over the last several years.

So I would still watch the race but I rarely finish it.

Just like your boy Jeff. ;)

I think Jeff wrecks less often than most others. I just had to tweek you.

Oh.....ah....good.

I thought you said twerk me. as if that wasn't bad enough I have Myley Cyrus's disgusting images of twerking in my head now. :(

Weather around Talladega Speedway last night. Tornado warnings were issued for south of the track. Tie those RV's down fellow campers.
