they claim with the repave, it was more important to have more practice time than to have qualifying.
They are probably right about that.
Satisified with that last practice?
He was top 5 in terms of race pace and one of the faster guys on old tires.
Hoping for a race as good as last year's.
If I said '867-5309', would you get the joke down there? And your login?
Well, the Trucks and X weren't straight line, although they have more downforce.I think it will be straight line follow the leader, we will see. Hope I am wrong.

I used to do the same thing, but I like partaking in the race thread, so cant really do that .Dawg, I record them on DVR and start watching them either 2 hours after they start or on a Saturday night race, we may watch them Sunday morning with my coffee and zip through the commercials. I steer clear of all results until I watch it.
I hate commercials. 99.9% of all my TV watching is pre recorded.
I hope it's like every other race . Lots of jockeying for position early on . Fastest car works it's way to the front . Second fastest car finds a way to get to second place . Etc . Good clean racing , fast pit stops , track officials keep everyone safe . Maybe I'm hoping for too much ?

NASCAR warns drivers/crew chiefs about illegal body modifications which includes "slicing the vehicle wrap." Sounds like a new trend?

What?
I am just guessing here, but slicing the wrap , depending on where , could allow air to get in between it and the body creating a little bit of downforceJeff Gluck @jeff_gluck 42m42 minutes ago

Great point.I am just guessing here, but slicing the wrap , depending on where , could allow air to get in between it and the body creating a little bit of downforce
Good point. I wonder if instead of getting in between the wrap and car, maybe the cuts could force the air to move in a direction along side the car that gives them some bit of extra downforce.I am just guessing here, but slicing the wrap , depending on where , could allow air to get in between it and the body creating a little bit of downforce
And you make a good as well, I can see that working tooGood point. I wonder if instead of getting in between the wrap and car, maybe the cuts could force the air to move in a direction along side the car that gives them some bit of extra downforce.
