I see the day coming when they'll make an announcement only when the tracks AREN'T being treated.

I'm still not sure how I feel about this tactic.

Woohoo, my only race of the year.

I'm a big fan of this as a dirt track guy myself. Dirt tracks are always trying new things to expand the groove, it's very cool that now its starting to happen in NASCAR. The best racing we saw this year was at Bristol when you had the top line come in giving us great passing each lap

If this race is half as good as last year's, it'll be awesome. I was in attendance last year screaming my fool head off for the last 20 laps. Man I wanted to see Larson or Chase get by Kenseth.

I know it's only tuesday, but I don't like this.

Our section was mostly standing from excitement for the last 20-30 laps. THAT WAS RACING!

Last year I was kinda hoping Larson and Kenseth take each other out and Chase and Kasey could race for the win.

Went to this race every year from 1992 through 2010. One day I'll return to find that Dover looks like it did in 1992 minus the asphalt surface...

Should I drive up from Charlotte to Dover?!! The track looks awesome on TV is it worth it?

If you appreciate the cars and their build quality, the teamwork in the pits, race strategy, the skill of the drivers and the intensity of Cup competition and it appears that you do, there is no such thing as a boring race.

But that's just me.
I feel u brotha!!

Might make the drive! Pocono looks boring lol.. how did u like it?

I'll be at Pocono the following week. We did the Dover/Pocono back-2-back several times (Pocono use to be Father's Day week until 2002 or so). The racing at Pocono has been better than Dover since the return of shifting imo. Pocono gets a bad rap for some reason but the races are always interesting due to strategy and car setup imo. Usually a lot of twists and turns. Dover it seems like 2 or 3 cars nail the setup and control the race.....

Pocono has been better the last couple of years atleast on tv

What's scary to me is this weekend will make it 20 years since the last 500 mile race at Dover. The June 1997 race was one of the wildest I've ever attended. Gordon and Jarrett had a dust up under caution which cost both drivers a chance at the win. Then Irvan hit oil between 3 and 4 and wrecked with the race in hand which left Ricky Rudd and Martin to battle it out the last 15 laps. Rudd held on for the win...

I look at races at Pocono as if it were a road course. The car setup has to favor turn 3 and not the other 2 which are
each quite different.

Most importantly, teams up front can pit under green without losing a lap. The strategy will be different this year with Clarence's "enhancements" in play.

Absolutely, TV doesn't do Dover justice there is so much going on always drivers on the edge. I sit in turn 4 and I love watching how sideways they get coming up out of the turn.

Dover is a great place to watch a race! When the races were 500 miles it was such a grind! These were our seats for 18 years. Pic is from the last time I was there in 2010...

Nice, we are right in front of pit entrance turn 3 exit into turn 4. Never been down on that side was on the front stretch for I think it was the first truck race

Crowds are nowhere near that these days but I love that area of seats. I'm in 212 this year. Dover is great!

For y’all wantin’ to spy on the traffic ‘n visually check the weather, remember the Delaware traffic cams. There (they’re for our special friends) are rotating views from several cams mounted at the facility.

A NASCAR trailer was visible the last I checked ‘n the weather didn’t look all that good.
