I'll be there if the weather doesn't match the current forecast
I could probably attend a Monday race...sorry for the Sunday fans...
I see the day coming when they'll make an announcement only when the tracks AREN'T being treated.
I'm still not sure how I feel about this tactic.
Dover is a great place to watch a race! When the races were 500 miles it was such a grind! These were our seats for 18 years. Pic is from the last time I was there in 2010...
It was a success at Charlotte? News to me
I've already started my rain dance for Daytona, but I'm fully prepared to beer and whisky my way through whatever length of a rain delay.Whelp, I'm guessing this means it finally won't rain at Pocono? The weather is always dicey these next 3.5 months....
Yep.Should I drive up from Charlotte to Dover?!! The track looks awesome on TV is it worth it?
I wish.. no.. I just mean can't wait to watch it lolU going ?
...and that's how you do that.I've already started my rain dance for Daytona, but I'm fully prepared to beer and whisky my way through whatever length of a rain delay.

Starting to get excited about the Dover race. I'm feeling a Kyle Busch win but getting prepared for another Jimmie Johnson victory. I'll have fun anyway. Hoping for a close finish and an exciting race.Weather's weather. I don't think I ever went to a Dover weekend without seeing some sort of downpour. Great thing about that place when they encounter rain is that that track dries fast.
See ya there gator man!Look over your shoulder Dover. Mr & Mrs. Johali Gator have arrived.
One of the many super cool things about this board is the great advice and information from the members about any Race or Track. All you have to do is ask and sometimes you don't even have to ask. We're staying at the Delaware State Fairgrounds campground. It's a great and inexpensive campground that's about 30 minutes from the track. I had never heard of it until @dpkimmel2001 told me about it. Thanks bud.
Glad you made it. Make sure you take in a horse race or three while you're there and don't spend too much money at the casino.Look over your shoulder Dover. Mr & Mrs. Johali Gator have arrived.

That's the one I was referring to. There's also a couple restaurants and a horse track.I just found out that there's a casino on the fairgrounds property less than 200 yards from our RV. The vault combination just got changed again.
Hmmm. OK, that's why all of the horse activity around here. I thought you meant the one at the track. That's the one I was referring to. There's also a couple restaurants and a horse track.
Heck no, you've got your own track right in your backyard.Hmmm. OK, that's why all of the horse activity around here. I thought you meant the one at the track.
We really like it. We're in the lot next to the main gate by the large bath house. We parked on the asphalt next to the grass. Once again thanks.Heck no, you've got your own track right in your backyard.
That's a great place to stay. We will be there ourselves next month. We always make it a point of stopping there for a day or two.
