The estimated number of people treated by paramedics and/or moved to examination/treatment facilities was reported by various sources following the race. It was a big number but not enough to equal the empty seats.

Apart from that, the bare seats being written off as belonging to fans shopping while the race was in progress was a lie – or in today’s vernacular, an enhancement.

Nascar is going the wrong way, no restrictor plates, make the engines unlimited and every race should be 500 miles or laps. 100,000 fans went to watch a 20 lap race at Daytona in the eighties and it wasn't because they were running together, people wanted to see how fast they could go.

I thought he called him a 'Never Was'.

A good many people, including myownself, agreed with Busch.

My favorite Spencer moment was when he tried to interfere with the po-lice when they came after his criminal son. Maybe he thought they were strapped in a car when he went after 'em. He was kinda rough lookin' in the mug shot.

I always sided with Spencer..... his family were junkyard folks......rough and tumble.... split your head in a heartbeat.... quite a bit different from the mouthy Busch roosters that jump around and don't do a lot.....

I liked Spencer too... Expect for the fact that I remember, and I'm much younger than most members, remember that horrible '02 season he had while Stirling was competing for a championship. Just, I don't know much about Spencer, but I do know he could wheel a car with most, just most of his career he was in ho-hum cars.

I never had anything against Jimmy..... I was at Dega when he won... he was flyin'........

Access road to the pits is under turn 4. Or, there are pedestrian gates along the front stretch fence.
I went and picked up our pit passes yesterday. They were only $55.00 a piece. I think we have pretty good seats, we are in sec 21 row 20 seats 15 and 16. That is just to the right of the start and finish line and at the top of the lower level.

Thanks Jimmie! That reminds me I've got get my mower blades sharpened. Mowing season is just around the corner.

In English, that means the #48 went around coming off turn 2 and dug the nose into the grass. Unknown yet about a back up but he dug up some good divots.

UPDATE: backup being rolled onto the lift gate. May not have enough time to get a lap in before Q.

UPDATE: they'll use the backup.

Johnson to a backup car after a spin through the grass in turn 4

.@DaleJr will make his 600th start this weekend, he has more starts than: Cale Yarborough, David Pearson, Benny Parsons, Jimmy Means
Is that 600th across the board? Everything? Cup.... Busch... Trucks.... Go Karts???? Was kinda' wondering if it was all lumped in like Kyle's wins..... I think Kyle has over 200 now..... He counts the wins he had on a Big Wheel......

Kyle and Dale Jr aren't on the same page of the NASCAR book.

Just wondering how it was all totalled.... I was surprised to hear Jr. was making his 600th start..... maybe true...... 36 races for almost 20 years would calculate out.... time flies..... it's hard for me to fathom that Kyle has over 200 wins.....

So many damn changes to the rules. They should just burn the record books. No era or micro-era can be accurately or fairly compared.

Its strictly Cup races .

737 if you add Xfinity.

Yooo wtf a bird told me you weren't attending this weekend.

I'm telling you they are merely competition cautions. Two of them. The racing has been on point.
