2017 Loudon - Overton's 301 - Pre Race Thread

Like I said last week, excluding Daytona, this whole month is a dumpster fire.

I am not crazy about plate racing, Indy is awful IMO, Kentucky was bad so I hope NH is decent. It was a race I really used to look forward too

looks like two Zombie Dodges this weekend in the Xfinity race, Timmy Hill #40 and Johnny Jackson #72 for MBM racing

It will interesting to see what made the 42 illegal since it passed inspection to get on the track.
Gluck is saying that it moved higher during qualifying, and that it was designed to be adjustable, which it isn't supposed to be. Sounds like they'd tweak it between rounds?

If you're not pushing, you're not trying.

I like this personally, he's going to be a top 5 car by the end of the race on Sunday, penalty or not.
Remember when Cheatin-Chad was an insult?

I wish Chad would cheat more. It's been a while.

If that is the case, then they got what they deserved. The odd thing is, why wasn't this "adjustable" deck lid caught in the initial inspection where they go over these things with a fine tooth comb?

They were really good at hiding it

Man this is getting ridiculous with the cheating see why they running so good smh

Does the 42 get a cucumber sticker to slap on the quarter-panel to commemorate this achievement?

If this sort of thing continues a cucumber in a certain orifice might be needed in order to persuade compliance. I remember JJ and Chad getting crucified by the great unwashed when they were routinely busted but the 42 team doesn't seem to elicit much.
